CNN's Christiane Amanpour biased?! You don't say?

Today's Amanpour's reportage:
israelmatzav: Video: Christiane Amanpour v. Zippity Livni
This is a video report by Christiane Amanpour on CNN. I haven't had the pleasure that often. Fortunately.

Part of the report is an interview with Zippy (as in Zippity-doo-dah - yes that's how Amanpour pronounced it) Livni and Livni takes her to the cleaners. But it still amazes me how Amanpour and her stooge keep throwing out slogans about the 'humanitarian crisis' and pretending that the plight of Gaza's non-terrorist citizens has nothing to do with the terrorists who hide among them.

Let's go to the videotape. I'll have more afterwards.

Carl goes on to quote from Powerline blog regarding how Amanpour manages to overlook facts in her reporting in an overt attempt to make Israel look bad and the Palestinians look like innocent victims.

But what can you expect from her? Lest we forget her bias in her infamous "documentaries"? God's Warrior...

If there ever was something broken in CNN - she's the center of it.
P.S. Was this from CNN international or the US version? Both are horribly biased against Israel, but the international one is insanely biased. I don't know if in Israel they manage to view the American version, I know we don't see the international one except during the middle of the night.

On another note - I'm probably not going to post anything else today - hopefully nothing catches my attention during the next few days either. I hope Israel manages to shrug off the international pressure hypocrite overreaction and do what needs to be done to ensure safety and security of civilian population in the south.

  1. What do you expect from this terrible reporter? She has an in with every Terrorist in the world and she is originally from Iran! Plus, she lived with activist JFK Jr while they were in college! She is an embarrassment to CNN, but then again, so are all their employees!

  2. Retired Vet - Not expecting a thing from her - that was my point in the post, but it's always important to shine a flashlight on her and her type.

Being originally from Iran is not a disqualifies. Persians are not necessarily supporters of today's Iran. Even communist Persians are bemoaning their initial support for the Islamic revolution. Being from Iran and supporting Islamists is.

She can't be an embarrassment to CNN; CNN is an embarrassment to journalism though. ;-)
