Human Rights Watch criticizes Hamas treatment of Shalit

Broken clock, right twice a day news. Of course, they only issue this statement to pretend being even handed. Their usual silence regarding human rights violations outside of Israel, or against Israelis is deafening. Now they can say: 'hey, we made one report about that Israeli - see, we're not biased'. Except that the venom carried by this group against Israel is inescapable.

Rights group criticizes Hamas treatment of Israeli
Human Rights Watch charged Friday that Hamas militants are violating the rules of war by prohibiting a captive Israeli soldier from having contact with his family and the Red Cross.

The treatment of the 23-year-old soldier, captured exactly four years ago by Hamas, is "cruel and inhuman" and matches a U.N. definition of torture because he is denied any outside contact, the U.S.-based rights group said in a statement.

Hamas-affiliated militants captured tank crewman Sgt. Gilad Schalit inside Israel in 2006 and have been holding him since then in Gaza, the coastal Palestinian territory controlled by the militant Islamic organization.

Negotiations over a deal that would see Israel win Schalit's release by freeing hundreds of Palestinian prisoners, including militants convicted of deadly attacks against civilians, have stalled.

Hamas released a video of Schalit in October 2009 to prove the soldier was alive. His current condition is unknown.

The statement from Human Rights Watch notes Israeli violations of Palestinian rights, including limitations on visitation rights for some Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails, but says violations by one side "do not justify violations by the other."

Schalit has dual French-Israeli citizenship and on Friday French President Nicolas Sarkozy released a letter he had addressed to the abducted soldier's parents.

"Like all French people, I'm indignant that a man could be deprived of freedom in such a way," Sarkozy wrote. "Such treatment, which totally lacks humanity, ignores universally recognized principles when it comes to prisoners, firstly the visiting rights of the International Committee of the Red Cross."

Russia defends talks with Hamas

Russian international actions make no sense - except to become again the evil empire they once were.

Lavrov Defends Russia’s Talks with Hamas
Russia’s foreign minister defended his country’s holding direct talks with Hamas in Gaza, while his Israeli counterpart said achieving peace would take time.

“Yes, we are holding talks with Hamas—because it was elected by a large Palestinian majority in free elections, according to all elements,” Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said Tuesday in Jerusalem following a meeting with his Israeli counterpart, Avigdor Lieberman.

Lavrov added that he believed that the talks were yielding results and that “we are witnessing positive movements.” He said Russia was encouraging Hamas to accept the Arab Peace Initiative, which offers Israel regional peace in exchange for land.

During the joint news conference, Lieberman said there would not be an independent Palestinian state in the next two years.

“I’m an optimistic person, but there is absolutely no chance of reaching a Palestinian state by 2012,” Lieberman said. “One can dream and imagine, but we are far from reaching understandings and an agreement.”

The Quartet, of which Russia is a member along with the United States, the European Union and the United Nations, have called for peace between Israel and the Palestinians by 2012.

WaPo columnist: Hamas is a threat to the Palestinian cause

Hamas gets no love in the WaPo. What is a genocidal islamo-fascist group to do...

Hamas is a threat to the Palestinian cause
It's a pity that Israel, while substantially loosening its grip on Gaza, will continue to enforce a blockade when, with just a little imagination, it could insist on a deal with the activists once again steaming its way: You can proceed to Gaza if, once you get there, you demand that Hamas cease the persecution of women, institute freedom of religion, halt the continuing rocketing of Israel, release an Israeli hostage, ban torture and rescind an official charter that could have made soothing bedtime reading for Adolf Hitler. This may take some time.

In fact, these demands would never be met. Gaza is a mean and brutal place with a totalitarian government steeped in a cult of violence and death. This hardly means that the government does not have a measure of popular support and did not, as some of the activists naively point out, come to power by democratic means. So did the Nazis.

...

The only cause the 'Palestinains' have is to replace the Jewish state with an Arab Islamic Sharia Caliphate. Ignoring this 'cause' and inventing a new one in the west is not going to help things.

The Israeli cause on the other hand, is to keep the murderous blood thirsty beasts away from own citizens - Jewish, Christians and Muslims. Living in security is more important than appeasing made up causes invented by enemies.

Hot summer for Gaza kids as Hamas burns down UN camps

Why is our tax money still funding anything in that tiny stretch of land? Nothing will ever make these cavemen evolve to be normal, decent human beings. Murder and hate is all they accept.

Rival Hamas, UN summer camps compete over children
Masked men trashed a U.N. summer camp Monday, tying up guards and slashing tents and an inflatable pool in the second such attack blamed on suspected extremists in just over a month — a sign of how, in Gaza, youth camp is not just about crafts and volleyball.

Rival day camps by the United Nations and Gaza's Islamic militant Hamas rulers compete for the hearts of the next generation, the roughly 700,000 children under 15 who make up nearly half of the Gaza Strip's population.

Hamas camps teach an anti-Israeli doctrine and military-style marching, along with horseback riding, swimming and Islam. U.N. camps try to instill hope in a better future, a message wrapped in fun and games.

The U.N. says it hopes to help shield Gaza's children against the lure of militancy, a task that's getting harder in the impoverished territory. Educators say today's children are more vulnerable than the previous generation, having witnessed war with Israel last year, internal Palestinian fighting and the violent Hamas takeover in 2007, followed by an Israeli-Egyptian blockade that has virtually cut Gaza off from the outside world.

"Time is against us," warned local U.N. chief John Ging. "We are losing an entire generation."

In Monday's vandalism, two dozen masked men broke into a U.N. camp before dawn, while children were not present. They tied up four guards, then slashed and burned tents, toys and a plastic swimming pool.

Hamas police condemned the attack and there was no claim of responsibility.

However, Islamic extremists, including a Hamas legislator, have accused the U.N. in the past of corrupting Gaza's youth, objecting to camp activities such as folklore dancing. A number of Islamic groups more militant than Hamas have carried out violence in the territory in the past few years.

Hamas is also becoming more assertive in imposing its strict version of Islam on daily life in Gaza. It has ordered male coiffeurs out of women's salons, and teenage girls are under intense pressure from teachers to wear headscarves and robes in government schools.

For now, Hamas has largely avoided confrontation with Ging's U.N. Relief and Works Agency, well aware of how vital it is to the lives of impoverished Gazans. UNWRA runs schools, clinics and food centers for two-thirds of Gaza's 1.5 million people.

The U.N. agency stays clear of Hamas, internationally shunned as a terror group.

It's not like the UN is any way teaching these kids brotherly love. Many top UN officials in Gaza are terror supporters and enables, some of their Gazan employees are terror members.

Hamas and Fatah cannot make peace amongst self

But Israel is pressured to keep providing measures to help both foe groups. Arabs are incapable of creating internal peace - not to mention honor peace (or ever sign one) with Jews.

Hamas-Fatah gap unbridgeable
A Palestinian committee that was recently formed to find ways to end the crisis between Hamas and Fatah has disbanded after concluding that the gap between the rival parties is unbridgeable.

The panel, which was headed by independent businessman Munib al-Masri, was formed immediately after the flotilla aid ship incident in late May.

Members of the committee were scheduled to visit the Gaza Strip for talks with Hamas leaders about the crisis. However, the visit was canceled after Hamas announced that it would not receive the delegation.

Israel loosens blockade, Hamas whines: our smuggling economy is crumbling

Try to hold your tears as you read the following. (sarc)

In Gaza, looser blockade leaves smugglers in limbo
Smuggling through tunnels into the Gaza Strip has dipped as their operators try to figure out whether they'll still have a business once Israel eases its blockade of the territory.

Some of the hundreds of tunnels under the border with Egypt have suspended work. Others now only bring in the most sought-after items, such as cement, steel, fuel and cigarettes. Some Gaza shopowners and traders have frozen orders of smuggled goods until they find out whether merchandise coming in legally from Israel will be cheaper.

Gaza's entire business community is in limbo, following Israel's announcement last week that it would significantly loosen its 3-year-old chokehold on Gaza, after coming under harsh international criticism over its deadly raid on an Gaza-bound international flotilla of pro-Palestinian activists.

"We've had very slow traffic these days," said one tunnel owner, who only gave his first name, Ayman, for fear of repercussions from Egypt which has cracked down on smuggling. "Merchants are waiting to find out what items are going to be allowed through the Israeli crossings."

Under the blockade, imposed after Hamas' violent Gaza takeover in 2007, Israel only permitted the import of a few dozen items, such as basic foods and medicines. In response, smuggling flourished, and a wide range of goods from fuel to candy to cars and livestock were brought in through tunnels.

Now Israel promises to let in everything except weapons and "dual use" items that could be diverted by Hamas for military purposes.

Which goes back to prove Israel's reason to not loosen the blockade - now Hamas has better capability to smuggle arms. Thanks Turkey for helping terrorists rearm.

'Son of Hamas' wins US asylum

Hero. Listen to what this person has to say, it takes courage to go against your family in order to save lives.

'Son of Hamas' granted US asylum
The son of a founder of the Palestinian Islamist group Hamas is to be granted asylum in the US, a judge has ruled.

Mosab Hassan Yousef said he became a spy for Israel's intelligence service and converted to Christianity before moving to California in 2007.

He went public earlier this year when he published his memoir called Son of Hamas.

Mr Yousef argued he would be killed if he was deported to the Palestinian territories.

Judge Rico Bartolomei ruled that Mr Yousef will be allowed to remain in the US pending a routine background check, Associated Press news agency said.

The ruling came after the US government dropped its objections to Mosab Hassan Yousef's asylum request, which was initially rejected last year.

Why did Obama's admin object to fugitive status for terror-fighting hero seeking asylum from Hamas?! Kagan?

Also, I've read somewhere, but too lazy to google the link, that an Israeli Musad agent revealed himself in order to prove Yousef's case.

Israeli Arabs murdering Jews, joining Al-Qaida

I'm wondering how the Israeli left will work to spin this as some sort of a conspiracy by Israel's government. Sure - discrimination is at fault here. If they would finally open their eyes they'll notice that the Israeli Arab population is as murderous and hostile as they were in the 1920-s and 1930-s.

Israeli Arabs 'inspired by global jihad' charged with taxi driver murder
Israel Police said Monday that three Israeli Arabs inspired by global jihad have been indicted for the 2009 murder of a taxi driver from Nazareth. The announcement came after a gag order on details of the case was lifted.

Yefim Weinstein, a 54-year-old taxi driver from Upper Nazareth, was found dead near Kibbutz Kfar Hahoresh in November 2009. Weinstein's body was found after passersby noticed his cab on the side of Route 75, between Nahalal and Nazareth, near the entrance to the kibbutz.

The alleged murderer, a Nazareth resident, and two friends who allegedly helped him flee the murder scene, were part of a cell of seven men who police said were tied to global jihad. The three were arrested during a joint operation between the police and the Shin Bet security service.

According to police, the seven-man cell regularly watched al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden's speeches online and had wanted to join the fight against Jewish and Christian "infidels."

The indictment states that the suspects, all of whom are between 19 and 26 years old, were also allegedly involved in several other attacks against Jewish and Christian targets over recent years.

The group was exposed after two of its seven members were arrested in Somalia and extradited to Israel after they allegedly planned to fight against United States soldiers stationed there.

Perhaps it is time to inspect closer what is taught in Israeli Arab schools and preached at mosques?

Hamas' hate TV finally off French TV-s

Progress.

Satellite firm cuts Hamas TV broadcasts to Europe
A Gaza-based television station, accused of inciting hatred of Jews and Israel, has had its broadcasts to Europe shut off, Eutelsat satellite firm said on Friday.

Paris-based Eutelsat said its client Noorsat, the operator which handles the broadcasting of Al-Aqsa TV to parts of Europe and throughout the Middle East, cut the satellite signal on Thursday.

Reacting to the move, Al-Aqsa director Hazem al-Charawi said: "The legal battle has just started and we are determined to pursue it."

He told a news conference in Gaza City late on Thursday that the shutdown of its broadcasts to Europe amounted to "another layer of the Gaza blockade imposed by the Zionist lobby with France's help."

Charawi also pledged to expand broadcasts in Latin America by striking deals with Arab satellites that beam to that part of the world "in order to make the (Israeli) occupier and his crimes known" to the world.

Al-Aqsa TV, which is run by the Islamist movement Hamas which controls the Gaza Strip, went off the air in Europe at 1800 GMT on Thursday.

Before the signal on Eutelsat was turned off, Al-Aqsa TV broadcast a message to its European viewers denouncing the "unjust decision" and inviting them to switch to Nilesat and Arabsat satellite operators.

Programmes -- accompanied by the caption "a new beginning" -- were still being broadcast on the other frequencies to the Middle East region on Friday.

Earlier this month the French government ordered Eutelsat to take Al-Aqsa TV off the air after receiving a complaint from the European Commission that it violated rules on incitement.

France's CSA broadcasting authority in 2008 and 2009 warned Eutelsat about breaching French laws that ban incitement to hatred, but these warnings did not lead to any change in the content broadcast via its satellites.

Al-Aqsa TV shows music videos and cartoons glorifying the killing of Israeli soldiers, as well as a children's show with a Mickey Mouse-like character that encourages martyrdom and armed struggle leading to the destruction of Israel.
Amazingly, AFP manages to downplay the anti-Semitic message of Hamas-TV. No - not just 'armed struggle', or killing soldiers - nope - they broadcast hatred of Jews and incitement to commit murder and genocide against all Jews. Managing to ignore that is pretty much amazing.

Elena Kagan: The Jewish & Israeli angle

When she was first nominated, ynet's DC reporter - an avid reader plagiarist from Huffington Post blog - presented her nomination as some kind of a trophy to Jewish community and Israel. Some signal that just like a 'wise Latina', we will have a wise 'Hebrina' - and we had better like it and support Democrats from here to eternity in thanks.

Well...

First this: Jewish Clergy Group: Elena Kagan Isn't ‘Kosher’ to Serve on Supreme Court or as Drudge titled it:
850 Rabbis 'Take No Pride' in Kagan Nomination: 'Flame Throwing Radical' Would Speed US 'Into Sodom and Gommorah'...

Great.Next, this:
Elena Kagan: Aharon Barak my judicial hero
The New York Times reported Friday morning that Republican and conservative elements have been trying to hurt the chances of US President Barack's Obama's candidate for the Supreme Court, using a statement she made four years ago in favor of retired Israeli Supreme Court President Aharon Barak.

According to the report, in 2006, during her term as dean of Harvard Law School, Elena Kagan introduced Judge Barak during an award ceremony as “my judicial hero.” She added, “He is the judge or justice in my lifetime whom, I think, best represents and has best advanced the values of democracy and human rights, of the rule of law and of justice.”

The White House explained that Kagan was simply welcoming back a former student; Judge Barak studied at Harvard in the 1960s. But Kagan’s opponents have rolled out Judge Barak — “the other Barack,” as some call him in reference to President Obama — as Exhibit A in the case against her.

Senator Jeff Sessions of Alabama, the top Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee, on Thursday called Kagan’s introduction “very troubling” and suggested it “might provide real insight into her approach to the law.”

On Wednesday, Judge Robert Bork, whose own Supreme Court nomination in 1987 resulted in a Senate vote against confirmation, said Judge Barak “may be the worst judge on the planet, the most activist,” and argued that Kagan’s admiration for him is “disqualifying in and of itself.”

It seems this declaration brings more negatives to her nomination, read the whole article.

Of course Democrat/ KKK leader/ Senator(!) Byrd doesn't sign letter of support for Israel

On zip: 85 of 100 Senators Sign Letter to Obama Defending Israel…

Commenters were wondering who didn't sign. Larry answers:
I checked those who signed against the official current senate web list

http://www.senate.gov/general/contact_information/senators_cfm.cfm

87 senators signed the letter.

MIA

1. Akaka, Daniel K. – (D – HI)
2. Bingaman, Jeff – (D – NM)
3. Bunning, Jim – (R – KY)
4. Byrd, Robert C. – (D – WV)
5. Dodd, Christopher J. – (D – CT)
6. Gregg, Judd – (R – NH)
7. Harkin, Tom – (D – IA)
8. Kerry, John F. – (D – MA)
9. Leahy, Patrick J. – (D – VT)
10 Merkley, Jeff – (D – OR)
11. Sanders, Bernard – (I – VT)
12. Udall, Tom – (D – NM)
13. Wyden, Ron – (D – OR)

D’s/I’s outnumber R’s 11-2. That’s no accident, and 9-11 Infidel is absolutely correct: if some of these Dem’s weren’t facing re-election or serious embarrassment, they’d be on the list of MIA’s, too.

Shame on the two Repub’s on the list.

...[CORRECTION]
One correction:

13. Wyden, Ron – (D – OR)
DID SIGN the letter.

13. Should be Webb, Jim – (D – VA)
He did NOT sign!

I was guessing yesterday who were those that didn't sign, realizing that although I'm a news addict, and a very political person, I don't know by name all senators. Both my wife and I agreed though - there's no way KKK-Byrd signed a letter in support of Israel.

A small surprise here is Dodd. I guess that now that Dodd is disgraced and a lame duck - he's no longer ashamed of showing his true views. Other eye brow raisers: Patrick Leahy and Judd Gregg. Vermont's loon is absolutely no surprise and I guessed he'd be there too.

Jews who vote democrats should continue asking themselves, why are they voting for a party which has a KKK leader represent them in the Senate.

Barbaric.

Oh, did I say Barbaric? Nope - Byrd said. Comedy hour with a soon to hopefully finally give his last breath, KKK leader Byrd:

Dearborn, where the US constitution no longer applies

I could end this post by just saying: DEARBORN.

Just like exclaiming "What is the secret of Soylent Green?"

DAERBORN!!!

Apparently first amendment does not apply when there's a Muslim event on public property. We were poking fun at England for similar bull crap where Christians were arrested for handing out proselytizing leaflets. But they never had a constitution. Theirs is a nation adrift in arbitrary court rulings and 'over-turn-able' legislation.

Where's the ACLU? Will they come to protect civil rights of Christians?

I'm not a Christian - but I do care regarding what kind of country I live in. And frankly - I prefer freedom of religion to Sharia.

Israel launches a satellite, showing among other things its ballistic missiles capability

I added the missiles part, and only because I remember when Iran launched its own satellite, the buzz was that it demonstrates advances in ballistic missiles capability.

Israel launches new spy satellite
In an effort to beef up intelligence gathering in the face of Iran’s pursuit of nuclear power, Israel launched a new spy satellite into space on Tuesday.

Called Ofek 9, the satellite was launched from Palmachim Air Force Base along the Mediterranean coast. It will be placed in low orbit by the IAI-made Shavit launcher that was used for the Ofek 7 satellite in 2007.

“This will significantly boost our intelligence-gathering capabilities,” a defense official said.

The Ofek 9 weighs about 300 kg. and can complete an orbit every 90 minutes.

While the new satellite will not represent a significant technological breakthrough – it will carry the same camera as the Ofek 7 – it will provide the IDF with greater flexibility in utilizing its space assets.

The last satellite, the TecSar, was launched by Israel from India in 2008. Also developed by IAI, the TecSar can create high-resolution images using advanced radar technology called Synthetic Aperture Radar, enabling it to produce images in all weather conditions and even at night.

Spotlight on blog: Point of no return - the plight of Jewish refugees from Arab world

Allow me to quote the intro:
In just 50 years, almost a million Jews, whose communities stretch back up to 3,000 years, have been 'ethnically cleansed' from Arab countries. These refugees outnumber the Palestinian refugees two to one, but their narrative has all but been ignored. Unlike Palestinian refugees, they fled not war, but systematic persecution. Seen in this light, Israel, which absorbed most of these Jewish refugees, is the legitimate expression of the self-determination of an oppressed indigenous, Middle Eastern people.
This website is dedicated to preserving the memory of the near-extinct Jewish communities, which can never return to what they once were. It will attempt to pass on the stories of the Jewish refugees and their current struggle for recognition and restitution. Awareness of the injustice done to these Jews can only advance the cause of peace and reconciliation.
(Iran: once an ally of Israel, Iran is now an implacable enemy and numbers of Iranian Jews have fallen drastically from 80,000 to 20,000 since the 1979 Islamic revolution. Their plight - and that of all other communities threatened by Islamism - does therefore fall within the scope of this blog.)

500 anti-Semites disrupt a Chinese cargo ship

Sometimes moonbat haters are so dumb they can provide real life comedy.

Tried to Boycott Israeli Ship, Blocked Chinese Ship Instead
Some 500 anti-Israel protestors arrived at the Oakland, California port early Sunday morning, hoping to block an Israeli ship from unloading its cargo. However, the ship did not arrive, and the crowd prevented workers from unloading a Chinese ship instead.

The protestors say they were protesting the recent Israel-Turkey flotilla incident, though they displayed great ignorance about what actually happened; one of them even compared barely armed Israeli Defense Forces troops with Somali pirates.

“My grandmother's Jewish. I'm not anti-Semitic," protestor Frank McClain told a local Oakland newspaper. "But what Israel's doing is murdering people. They staged a raid in international waters. If Somalis had done that, they'd be called pirates and we'd have punished and stopped them immediately.”

In fact, as videotapes have shown, Israeli soldiers warned the ships well in advance not to enter the waters under legitimate Israeli blockade; boarded the ship armed only with paintball guns and pistols in case of need; and were set upon and attacked as they rappelled down by lynch mobs armed with iron clubs, knives, and even their own pistols that the attackers took from them. Several of the soldiers were held captive for a while below deck. Ultimately, the Israelis were able to regroup, defend themselves, ward off the terrorist activists, tend to their wounded, and gain control of the boat that had been set on a near act-of-war course.

Anti-Semitic Lemmings.

ADL cancels meet with Turks, says 'useless', calls Erdogan Anti-Semite

Sometimes the ADL makes a really strong point:

“I believe in dialogue and meetings but there is a point at which it becomes useless to have a conversation,” ADL National Director Abraham Foxman told Haaretz on Wednesday.

“You can disagree with Israeli government and its policies but why should you cancel visit of Turkish teachers and scholars to Yad Vashem [Israel’s national Holocaust memorial]? I read that the prime minister of Turkey compared the Star of David to a swastika - it’s ugly and anti-Semitic, it’s what our enemies did. So ‘yesh gvul [there’s a limit].”

Read the whole thing, including support for Israel by congress Democrats:
U.S. Jewish groups skip meet with Turkish officials

Bi-Partisan support for Israel in the US congress is indeed a blessing. It's comforting to know that reason prevails while the rest of the world has gone insane.

It has become too easy to assume anti-Israel bias in the Media

I don't think there's anything funny in the following bit by Jon Stewart. He's trying to ridicule Glenn Beck for exclaiming anti-Israel bias by mistakenly claiming no other media has shown the Flotilla violence footage. However, Jon did not present to his viewers what was said by these media outlets while presenting the videos. In any case, the worst offender regarding how Israel is treated is the international media. CNN international (even worse than CNN USA), AP, AFP, local European agencies and of course Reuters. You don't have to try to dig too deep to prove that.

Had the American media been truly fair - we could have avoided several knee jerk anti-Israeli remarks by major American lefties. If you take the 2 minutes it takes to understand what had happened, you cannot sincerely say Israel sought to murder humanitarian civilians. This is however how the media in general delivered the news, and few went passed the headline. Showing the video isn't enough, explaining what is happening and who is doing what is extremely important.

It is clear that Stewart is doing this segment only to somehow hurt Beck and Fox News image. A daily shtick that's becoming old and boring.

Israel declares IHH (Turkey's PM's propaganda arm) a terrorist org

Just a month too late.

Israel brands Turkish charity 'terrorist organisation': TV
Israel considers the Turkish Muslim charity IHH involved in organising a flotilla of aid ships to Gaza last month as a "terrorist organisation," public television said Wednesday.

IHH, the acronym for Turkish Humanitarian Relief Foundation, is the charity that was involved with organising the fleet of aid ships that attempted to bust the Gaza blockade on May 31.

Nine Turkish activists were killed by Israeli navy seals when commandos stormed one of the six boats in the flotilla -- the Turkish-owned ferry, Mavi Marmara.

Public television said that IHH is now part of a list of movements or organisations such as the Palestinian Islamist Hamas or Lebanon's Shiite Hezbollah group which are under scrutiny by Israeli intelligence services

Questionned by AFP a spokesman for the Israeli defence ministry declined to confirm or deny the report.

But a senior Israeli official said on condition of anonymity that "the IHH charity is considered as criminal in Israel because it supports terrorism and has close links with Hamas," the Islamist rulers of Gaza.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Ygal Palmor told AFP "Israel will consider a hostile act any bid by enemy countries to break the Gaza blockade" -- amid reports aid ships from Iran and Lebanon would try to reach the Gaza Strip.

In other news, Hezbollah fast-boats are expected to try outrun Israeli war-ships. Meaning, if soldiers can't mount the 'humanitarian civilian aid ships', they'd have to sink them to preserve the blockade. Expect war.

Israel fears Lebanese ‘fast’ flotilla
While the IDF continued Wednesday to track the Iranian ships en route to the Gaza Strip, the Navy was put on high alert amid fears that another flotilla would be launched from Lebanon, leaving – due to the short distance – little time to stop it.

A cargo ship left Iran earlier this week and is expected to try and break the Israeli-imposed siege on Gaza as early as the weekend.

Another ship is scheduled to join at the beginning of next week. The IDF is closely tracking the ships but is particularly concerned about the possibility that a number of ships will set sail from Lebanon, possibly even with Hizbullah operatives aboard.

“There is not a lot of time to stop fast ships that come from Lebanon,” an IDF officer explained, “Practically, it means that the Navy has to be on high alert around the clock.”

The Navy will likely first try to stop the ships by calling on them to stop at sea and far from the Gaza coast.

In related news, Syrian Hitler impersonator is rubbing his fingers in anticipation of war. Finger lickin' for a killin'.

Assad: Israeli flotilla raid increased chances of war (with video on BBC)
Israel's deadly interception of ships trying to break the blockade of Gaza last month has increased the likelihood of war in the Middle East, according to Syria's president.

Nine pro-Palestinian Turkish activists died when Israeli forces boarded the flotilla - Israel says its troops were acting in self-defence.

Speaking to our Middle East Editor, Jeremy Bowen, the Syrian leader Bashar Assad says that action has made it much harder for there to be any constructive dialogue with his Israeli neighbour.

Hot and violent summer in the Mediterranean - news you missed roundup

I'll put the titles and links and make a few comments of my own:

* Newsweek: Bracing for an Israeli-Iranian Faceoff in the Waters off Gaza

A full scale Iranian/Turkish/Israel military conflict is brewing and western nations are calmly watching and putting all pressure on Israel. What could go wrong? Highly recommended reading.

* Israel on the Road to Energy Autonomy, Russia Scraps Pipeline

This story has more layers than you'll find in the link. Israel announced discovery of gas field immediately after Flotilla flop. I suspect in anticipation of Turkey and Russia punishing Israel by exclusion from Russian pipeline which was planned. As a direct result, Hezbollah is threatening war on supposed 'theft of Lebanon's natural resources'. There's an energy war in additional to religion driven one and those are intertwined. It could very well all be a coincidence it all surfaces at once, I just find it hard to believe.

Two relevent stories to further complicate the issue, both from Carl-In-Jerusalem: Russians helping transfer weapons from Syria to Hezbullah, and Next Hizbullah War May Be Over Israel’s Gas and Oil Fields

* Turkish FM: Jerusalem Will Soon be the Capital of Palestine

Are masks finally off? Turkey's leadership is engaged in a territorial fight against Israel driven by religious motives.

* Turkey will not appoint new ambassador to Israel

The least of Israel's worries considering other actions Turkey is taking.

* Israel withdraws operators, support staff for drones it provided Turkey

We are observing the very last days of Israel/Turkish relationship, or at least until Turkey's citizens elect a sane - non Jihadist government.

* Turkey to React Harshly if Turkish Companies Face Problems in Israel: Official

It appears someone missed the memo. I won't speculate as to what 'harshly' means. There are always even worse things Turkey can do. Just ask Cyprus.

* ‘We Frankly Don’t Care About…Peace in Karabakh,’ Says US Intelligence Officer
We frankly don’t care about human rights or democracy-building, or Israel and Turkey, or peace in Karabakh or Georgia, or even Azerbaijani energy. There is only one thing we really care about right now, and that is Afghanistan,” said a US intelligence official in Azerbaijan to Thomas Goltz, who is the author of Azerbaijan Diary and other books. He teaches in the political science department at Montana State University in Bozeman.

Goltz revealed this conversation with the unnamed US official in an article published in the Foreign Policy, entitled “Bad Blood in Baku.”

A field officer is not the president and is not setting policy, however it is very possible that this message was delivered from the top.

What are current USA's foreign policy goals? I think everyone's confused.

* Gaza flotilla raid fails to boost Hamas popularity: poll

I bring this only as an anecdote. Hamas doesn't really need popularity, they are a totalitarian thugish mafia and have already won and taken over the Arab population in 'Palestine' (as they insist on calling the Jewish historic land). Turkey's goal was not to boost Hamas but to put an exclamation mark on the Turkish hostility against Israel. They have succeeded beyond their wildest dreams in isolating Israel and pushing Turkey into the open arms of Jihadis across the world.

* Arab media speculating that Israel is building alliances against Turkey with long time rivals Greece and Cyprus (auto translated from Hebrew)

Unlikely, except on a sympathetic level. Greece is a NATO member and so is Turkey. Greece is extremely hostile to Israel. They are under a financial collapse. Their population is very anti-semitic and generally supports PLO terrorists as they butcher Jews. Sure, Israel will mobilize Greece against Turkey... riiiight.

* Hezbollah museum: war for all the family

I'm just wondering if there are any USA/Dearborn ties here. Wouldn't be surprised.

Ynet headline: 'Madonna turned Kabbalah into joke'

I'm not religious, and to me Kabbalah has always been a joke. Judaism is not sorcery, Kaballah is.

This article is trying to promote religious tourism to Sefad, or shine a light on it - I don't know. I'll just inject that there are many artists living and working in Sefad, my wife's uncle included. He was sitting in his studio one day in 2006 and a Hezbollah rocket fell on him. Last time we visited he wanted us to take home to US with us a shrapnel extracted from his studio's wreckage. I politely declined - I prefer not being stopped at airports with explosives residue...

Tourists seek enlightenment (or Madonna) in Israel (article title differs after clicking on it from ynetnews main site)
In this hilltop town above the Sea of Galilee, black-clad Hassidic Jews throng stone alleys where sandal-shod New Agers offer biblical jewelry and organic hummus to tourists seeking enlightenment – or Madonna.

Welcome to Safed – also known as Tzfat – where the tourism boom Israel is enjoying with a lull in violence comes with a spiritual twist, thanks in part to the interest the Queen of Pop takes in Jewish Kabbalah mysticism, which has roots in the town.

The American singer, whose devotion has been emulated by other non-Jewish celebrities and many less exalted folk, made a discreet visit last year, paying respects at the grave of the 16th-century rabbi revered as the founder of modern Kabbalah.

Not everyone sees paparazzi fascination with "the Madonna connection" as a blessing. For some, it clouds the profound religious sentiment among Orthodox Jews for what is one of their four holy cities, where many believe the Messiah will appear.

"Yes, she was here. She went to the cemetery," shrugged Laurie Rappeport, once of Detroit, who runs a visitor center among the many synagogues of Safed's ancient Jewish quarter.

"She herself may be very sincere. But she has turned Kabbalah into a joke, a cult," Rappeport added, while conceding the media fuss had brought many Jews to explore their own faith.

The Overton Window - will this book be as epic as '1984', 'Brave New World' and 'Atlas Shrugs'?

I've had this conversation with my wife - epic books last more than a generation and enshrine their authors in the history books for eternity. Sure, Glenn Beck is very popular right now. As popular as he is controversial. But it I feel that his latest book is going to catapult him to a new stature.

Israeli officer murdered in terror attack - world & media mute

But guess what, they are all still up in arms trying to de-legitimize and prevent Israel from perusing legal war efforts against its enemies: EU to Israel - remove blockade NOW

You'd have to dig in the news sites to find this, it's such 'old news' as it happened in Israel morning hours. Which means out of the global media attention span.

Police officer killed and two wounded in West Bank shooting
A police officer was killed and two others wounded in a shooting attack on their vehicle outside the West Bank city of Hebron on Monday morning, police said.

All three were evacuated by helicopter to Hadassa hospital in Jerusalem, emergency services said, as the army began scouring the area for the attackers.

A doctor at Hadassa said the most severely wounded officer, Command Sergeant Major Yehoshua (Shuki) Sofer, was in critical condition when he arrived at the hospital after being shot in the stomach. He later died of his wounds.

Army Radio reported that a fourth officer received treatment - possibly for shock.

Gunmen opened fire on the police vehicle as it traveled on road 60, north of Hebron, carrying officers to duty stations in the city.

Initial investigations suggest the shooting was a planned ambush.

"This was definitely a terrorist attack. It was carried out on an ordinary police vehicle and forces are now combing the scene," said police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld.

Antisemtic Face of American Left Revealed

It doesn't take much to figure out who the anti-Semites are. Those who came out in support of Helen Thomas. There are degrees to this disease here and I'll sort them as:

* Murderously Deranged - support Helen Thomas because believe Jews should go back to Auschwitz

* Misinformed yet deranged - support ethnic cleansing of Jews in Israel 'because they belong in Poland'. Believes the statement does not mean genocide somehow.

* Historic facts gymnastics - people who take this opportunity to attack Israel on half truths and lies regarding history proclaiming there's occupation.

* People who manage to read the bible and not connect Jews to Israel

* People who agree with Thomas, are ashamed to say so, so find other excuses to continue glorifying her.

You be the judge where you place the following loons with their relevant statements:

Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Keith Olbermann, NBC people, CBC reporters, CNN on air persona-s, MSNBC morons, Huffington Post writers, Detroit Free Press columnists - and of course, not lefties but generally proud anti-Semites: Hezbollah, Arab press.

Lefties coming out of the shadows and are exposing themselves as anti-Semtic, thanks to freedom of speech we can point them out and make relevant decisions.

'Sanctions' on Iran, does this prove something regarding Obama-Israel relations?

Ynetnews: UN approves Iran sanctions

My question: 'Sanctions' on Iran, does this prove something regarding Obama-Israel relations?

I'll answer in brief points:

* Obama bent Israel's arm and abused the Iranian threat to squeeze Israel and prevent construction for Jews in Jerusalem.

* The sanctions seem to be very watered down.

* A year and a half was wasted to reach this point because Obama insisted that he can push a reset button with Iran. Based on nothing but his own lefty loony ideals.

* Obama's actions have led to a situation were Israel is more isolated and penalized than Iran.

* Obama allowed UN resolution against Israeli nukes - without mention of Iran - before SC decision (a week ago)

Consider the following articles as well:
* Putin: I don't know of any example of effective sanctions

* Obama's efforts on Iran sanctions fall short of expectations

Finally, a bigger question is: Is there anything in this resolution preventing or at the very least slowing down Iran's march to a nuclear bomb?

Obama snubs Israel, poses for photos with Abbas

Despite this 'peace partner' refusing to talk directly to Israeli leaders. What further proof is needed to show Obama's contempt for Israel and clear favorable bias towards Arabs?

U.S. President Barack Obama shakes hands with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas (L) at the White House in Washington, June 9, 2010. Obama hosted Abbas at the White House on Wednesday seeking to ensure that fallout from Israel's Gaza flotilla raid does not derail fragile U.S.-led peace efforts.

While world still condemns Israel and puts pressure: Hamas still holding Gilad Shalit without Red-Cross access

The dictionary isn't thick enough to describe the world stance regarding Israel, Gaza, Turkey and the whole brouhaha. Hypocrisy? Chutzpa? There isn't a word strong enough.

I myself am opposed to release of terrorists in exchange for one person. In addition, I'm opposed to any relaxation of blockade, and to any cargo going through Israel to Gaza including the millions of dollars and Shekels in currency delivered daily.

Hamas has managed to not only fool the world, but fool Israelis too - as it continues it's terror campaign, while Israel feeds it. Gaza is booming, and Israel is still condemned and vilified in every forum.

All along, a person, a human being is being held by the worst creatures on this earth. Abused, and without any voice.

And still, the supposed ally and friend of Israel is pressuring it to concede further diplomatic points to its foes. Americans support Israel, the current American regime is hostile.

Meanwhile, it seems Israel has given up on ties with Turkey. To my understanding, the current strategy is 'ignore and contain'.

Tomorrow Obama is expected to host Israel's 'peace partner' - one can only assume he won't receive the 'I'm going to dinner with Michele - screw you, wait for me here' treatment he gave Bibi.

Keeping eyes off the ball: Iran using Dubai to smuggle nuclear components

While the world is focused on ending a blockade on terrorist entity Hamastan in Gaza.

World gone mad.
Iran using Dubai to smuggle nuclear components
In the latest deal, an Iranian company associated with the regime's nuclear programme has acquired control systems from one of Germany's leading electronics manufacturers. The deal was negotiated with a prominent Dubai trading company, which then sold Iran a range of electronic equipment for use at its Natanz uranium enrichment facility.

Details of the deal have emerged amid mounting concern in the West that Tehran has ended its self-imposed suspension of its nuclear weapons programme. A National Intelligence Estimate issued by US intelligence agencies in late 2007 concluded that Iran had suspended its attempts to build an atom bomb in 2003.

But a detailed assessment of Iran's recent declarations to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna has led Western officials to conclude that Iran has ended its self-imposed suspension, and has now resumed work on its military programme.

This would explain Iran's renewed attempts to smuggle banned equipment through Dubai. In the latest deal, details of which have been obtained exclusively by The Sunday Telegraph, high-grade German equipment including computers, controllers, communication cards and cables have been smuggled into Iran.

The equipment was sold to Iran without the knowledge of its German manufacturer by a Dubai-based intermediary using false end-user certificates for companies in Asia, even though the sale of technology that can be used in Iran's nuclear programme is banned under UN Security Council resolutions.

Lies of Turkish ambassador to US

In the Washington Post, a letter from Turkey's ambassador to the US posts a list of demands from Israel. It also lays some accusations and untruths. Let's review these lies:
Israel owes Turkey an apology for flotilla attack
As we now know well, instead of the day ending with the delivery of humanitarian aid to ease the desperate lives of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, it began with the killing by Israel Defense Forces of nine peace activists and the wounding of about 30, all civilians.

Turkey, Israel and members of the flotilla knew very well there was a blockade and they wouldn't be let in. The day didn't start with killing of civilians, it started with lynching, abducting, beating to a pulp and urinating on Israeli commandos. The organizers of this flotilla expressed that their goal was not to deliver aid but to break the blockade.
It was an international aid convoy made up of nationals of 32 countries taking food, toys, medical equipment and similar aid to the people of Gaza, who have been deprived of these basic commodities for years
Gaza residents were not deprived any of the items found on the boat or listed in this lying paragraph.
Among the ships' 600 activists were Nobel Peace Prize winner Mairead Corrigan-Maguire, European lawmakers, journalists, business leaders and an 86-year-old Holocaust survivor -- hardly targets who could pose a threat to Israel's well-trained commandos.
Some of the people he listed were not on the boat, he omitted of course the well trained sworn Jihadis. The Al-Quada members from Yemen, Malaysia and Indonesia. The Jihadis from Bosnia and the Hezbollah representatives.
Because the attack took place in international waters, 72 miles off Israel's coast, it was illegal.
Not illegal by marine blockade law, as he is well aware - yet chooses tell himself and his people this lie.
. We cannot avert our eyes when the lives of our citizens -- innocents -- are lost during an illegal assault in defense of a blockade that is unfair, inhumane and unsustainable
Innocent? Watch the videos, listen to the people on the boat before and during the sail. The legality lie again, then the charge that the blockade is unfair and inhumane. What blockade in history has been more justified and fair?

Finally, demands:
Israel can start by bringing an end to its blockade on Gaza; by ending its inappropriate and disproportionate police actions toward the Palestinian civilians of that land; and by allowing a prompt, independent, impartial, credible and transparent international investigation into the incident. Moreover, Israel owes an apology to the Turkish nation.
* Suppose Israel brings an end to the blockade and in return gets bombed with WMD-s - who will stand for Israel? What defense will Israeli civilians get?
* By letting land guards down vs. the Palestinains, Israel will allow mass Murder of Jews. This demand is pretty much insane.
* International inquiries against Israel are anything but fair - those are tools of demonetization perpetrated by enemies. This is diplomatic suicide.
* Apology is a simple thing, these are words. Words are empty. If Israel will accommodate terms 1 to 3 it will cease to exist. The 4th one is just to kick a man when he's down. Turkey owes Israel an apology for setting it up, and then playing it for all they can get. This is not how a friendly nation behaves.

Another boat of anti-Semites stopped

From current reports, these Irish and international communist anti-Semites refrained from carrying metal polls, abducting soldiers and urinating on them after stabbing and beating them to a pulp. Congratulation.

Israel seizes new Gaza-bound aid ship

Prepare for another set of lies to be spread regardless.

From recent news, the next flotilla will include mainly Hezbollah, not Al-Quada, so again - thanks Turkey. Always reliable in promoting terrorists and Jihad.

Nazi 'conservative' Buchanan gets a voice on conservative sites-lambastes left for being too pro-Israel

Flabbergasted. Dumbfound. Not with the scrotum produced content he writes, which is as always irrelevant, or his persona which is disgraced. But with the ongoing sham of him being prodded as a conservative on sites seeking any respect.

Schlussel: Pat HAMAS Buchanan: Qaeda Attacks on US Justified b/c of Israel

There's conservatism, there's the GOP, and then there's this Nazi. Last time I saw him on Foxnews I think was on O'Reilly. O'Reilly - I gave him a compliment in a post this morning, but I've never been light in my criticism of Foxnews keep inviting anti-Semites and trying to converse with them around the issue - as to not let them reveal their nature. Be it guests from CAIR, or former CIA Bin-Laden unit - all anti-Semitic loons, get a stage without any relevant proper background.

Turkey demands apology from Israel and to basically surrender to Hamas

There won't be peace unless Hitler gets Austria, then the Czechoslovakia. Oh yea, and Poland, France and those darn pesky Jooooooooooooooooooooooooooooos.

Turkey+Iran = Nazi Germany + Nazi Germany. The world had better wake up and start reacting instead of beating on Israel.

WSJ: Turkey Threatens to Cut Ties With Israel
Turkey threatened to formally cut diplomatic ties with Israel if Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu doesn't publicly apologize for the high-seas military action against a pro-Palestinian flotilla this week.

Turkey's ambassador to the U.S., Namik Tan, also demanded in a news conference Friday that the Israeli government consent to an international investigation into the commando operation, in which nine Turkish activists died on a Turkish-flagged ship, the Mavi Marmara.

Mr. Tan, a seasoned diplomat and former envoy to Israel, said Israel must also take concrete steps to ease its military blockade of the Gaza Strip.

My BFF-s don't send me boats with Al-Qaeda operatives on them, what about you?

Pancake SS carrying concrete, Israel conceded providing concrete to Hamas

Pancake SS carrying concrete, Israel conceded providing concrete to Hamas

Ireland: Agreement reached with Israel over 'Rachel Corrie' but crew refused
The Irish Department of Foreign Affairs has announced that it reached an agreement with the Israeli government by which the 'Rachel Corrie' would dock at Ashdod port, where it would unload the aid meant for Gaza and submit it to inspection, however the crew aboard the vessel refused.

Therefore, the ministry said in a statement, "the Government demands that (Israel) demonstrate every restraint" when it intercepts the ship.

Hebrew version of bulletin provide the missing detail: Pancake SS is bringing concrete and Israel agreed to let the anti-semites carry it to it's enemies. Hebrew link here.

Evil witch of the left - an anti-Semite. Hellen Thomas has always been an ugly individual

Ugliness from the inside.

From gateway pundit:
Far Left Media Darling Helen Thomas Tells Jews: “Get the Hell Out of Palestine… Go Back to Germany & Poland” (Video)

Far left media darling ad anti-Semite Helen Thomas tells Jews:
“Get the hell out of Palestine.”, "These people are occupied. And it’s their land.”", "Go the hell back to Germany and Poland"

My Bias

I'm biased to believe the following in the future. Sure I have proof right now to show it's true in the present, but in the future - I will be likely to believe it without checking, and as such I'm biased in the following beliefs:

* The international Media is biased

* Europe is mainly anti-semitic

* Turkey supports Hamas and other terrorists

* Arabs are violent and wish to murder infidels

* Muslims are supremacist and wish to impose their ideology on others

* Left wing politicians have hidden agenda and no moral principals

* An Arab wearing a coat on a warm sunny day entering a restaurant wants to murder people

* Communism is evil and anti-human

* The Obama admin is littered with Communists and Anti-Semites

* Many left wing politicians in the USA are atheists pretending to be religious.

* The UN has no function but to bash Israel and consume American tax payer funds

I'm too lazy to google it - but for each line there's a current relevant news story from the last week. I'm looking forward to the day where my current bias will be proven wrong. That'll be a good day for humanity.

Israelis, Foxnews and GOP only friend in the world?

Like I mentioned before, Israeli everyday people feel under siege and all alone in the world. Betrayed - thrown to the wolves by every nation, desperate for defense against an onslaught of Jihadis bombarding with rockets, exploding on buses and ambushing at sea while pretending to be 'peace activists'.

Israelis realize that it is better off to shoot first and ask questions later, considering that trying to 'talk first' results in abducted and nearly murdered soldiers, dead enemies and finally unanimous global condemnation.

While all this is happening, several interesting sporadic comments I caught while watching Foxnews this week:

* John McCain on Sean Hannity saying that Obama's anti-Israel policies had given the green light to Israel's enemies and in so many words the current unanimous global hostility and actions against Israel are Obama's fault.

* Bill O'Reilly on the 'viewers emails' segment yesterday commented that the condemnation and global hostility to Israel is pure anti-Semitism.

* Foxnews was initially the only station to give Israel's side a voice alongside the MSM version. Eventually Foxnews gave the facts as the IDF videos were indisputable. One cannot say the same for other US networks.

* Glenn Beck put on air two hours of historic and in depth review of Israel's fight with terrorism, who's behind the flotilla and setting the record straight regarding what had happened. (Wednesday and Thursday broadcasts)

That being said, Foxnews has several independent/left-minded people who expressed quick to judgment condemnation and disgust at Israel. If I had little respect for these people, It evaporated:

Alan Colmes, Juan Willians, Tucker Calrson (that's right!)

Sure - everyone is entitled to his opinion, but if you hadn't taken the time to learn the facts - don't go on air and immediately express really dumb commentary. At least start by saying 'I don't know the facts, on it's surface it seems like ____, I hope I'm wrong - but if it is so ____'.

To express an opinion on this matter in any other way is to accept the assumption that Israel and Israelis have sought to murder innocent people at sea. This assumption is horrific and unsubstantiated. Only an anti-semite should accept it. If you pay attention to what happens in Israel, have met Israelis, listened to their leaders, you cannot accept that.

Also, USA's VP Biden expressed an interesting unabashed support for Israel on PBS. Does that provide cover for his statements and behavior while visiting Israel? It was my impression he was doing everything possible to demolish Israel's stance in the world at that time, and much like McCain - I think Biden is very much responsible for pushing Israel's enemies to their current actions.

63%+ of American civilians are pro-Israel, that doesn't mean that they will automatically support any Israeli action. Neither do Israelis. When I heard of the deaths I was shocked - it was disgusting, but I sought facts - because I know Israelis and the state of Israel do not seek blood and do not condone murder. As the week events unfolded, it is clear to whomever wishes to know the truth that Israel was setup by Turkey and was attacked by Al-Quada while the entire world community took the opportunity to attack Israel.

Foxnews is the most watched news network in the US. Glenn Beck is a rising star with viewership that far outnumbers any rating at his time slot - many viewers watch the show via DVR. Foxnews eventually has let the American people learn the truth, and Israelis should recognize that their best and most trusted unbiased friends are the American people, the GOP leadership and Foxnews.

The 'pro-Israel lobby' and 'American Jewish support' has evaporated and demolished. Not a single Israeli should count on his American Jewish cousins for support at the best of times nor the worst of times. If there ever was a disgraceful week for American Jews - this was it. Consider comments by: Alan Colmes, Burney Frank, Jon Stewart and others. All prefaced with a 'As A Jew...' - followed by acceptance of anti-Israel propaganda and condemnation. These are not friends of Israel, of truth, of life.

Israeli analyst: Turkey unlikely to use force, start war with Israel

As unlikely as Hitler to invade Poland and bombard London? Just because Hitler said it, didn't mean it was going to happen. Same as Erdogan just saying that he wants to send warships to 'tear the blockade'....

Unlikely.

'Humanitarion peace acivists' riot in airport before deportation

Peacefully beating up Jews while screaming death to Israel.

Israelis today feel now more than ever isolated and betrayed. The fact that 65% of American public support Israel is not heard nor felt (or reported). Israelis feel under a siege of global hate. MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD!

Flotilla passengers attack immigration officers
Thirteen female European activists, arrested for their participation in the flotilla to Gaza, attacked Immigration Authority officers escorting them to the airport for their deportation, the Interior Ministry reported Wednesday.

Despite the calm that ensued following Monday's violence aboard the Turkish vessel Marmara, the Immigration Authority claims some of the activists detained in Israel have been instigating clashes with the authorities.

The ministry said the young women began to riot in the police bus conveying them to the airport. "They yelled and cursed," said an officer of the authority's Oz unit.

"They called us names and cursed Israel. When we arrived at Ben Gurion International Airport, two of them attacked me screaming, tried to push me, slap me, and scratch me. They yelled, 'free Palestine' and 'Israel is a terror state'. They only calmed down after an entire team apprehended them."

The officer said he was especially hurt by the behavior because Oz, the Prison Service, and the police had treated the flotilla activists so kindly since their arrival. "We gave them excellent, considerate, and respectful service. We took care of all of their needs," he said.

The reaction tells it all

When Israelis, any Israelis, heard of the deaths on the flotillas, the immediate response was 'oh no'. And regret for human life was publicly expressed.

On the other hand, Hamas immediately declare victory - Muslims actually celebrated the deaths as a victory - it played to their plans.

Israel should go on the attack here. Enough's enough. If the western world can't see where this is heading then blindness shall lead us all to a devastating world war. Turkey has to be put in it's place - in shame.

2010: Turkey sends 100 al Quada terrorists to attack IDF troops, world condemns Israel, US prez backs disarming Israel

What a difference 9 years make.

Sources in Israel say about a 100 of 'aid boats' were sworn Al-Quadea trained terrorists. The source which claims this right now is shady, so I won't link to it. Instead, here's a milder version, including relevant international outrage. This world has gone insane - and Israel is standing alone against the Jihadis. Turkey picked sides with Al-Quadea and allowed undocumented terrorists to sail the seas. Now who's backing piracy here?

* Probe reveals flotilla lynchers have ties to Global Jihad
* Turkish FM likens flotilla raid to 9/11 (oh the irony, it is their 9/11 - they sent the Jihadis!)
* NATO calls for probe into raid
* UN Security Council condemns Israel
* Report: Obama Administration Has Been Working For Months on Plan to Force Israel to Give Up Its Nukes (May 6th !!! No one paid attention)
* Obama Backs UN Resolution Singling Out Israel for its Nuclear Weapons, “An Unprecedented, Resounding Slap Around the Face”… (Check mate by 'ally')

But sure - Israel should trust USA and world community and sign 'peace treaties' with no real guaranties while the other side continues Jihad. This should end well.

Meanwhile, it is reported that the Obama admin is relived to have not met Netanyahu, it would have embarrassed him.

Many Americans feel it is Obama who is embarrassing the nation.

One very last point: It appears that this is the first time Al Quada manages to strike a blow on Israel. Thanks Obama and Turkey.
