On my way back

Bangkok, humid and hot - and my host whom I worked with had his A/C in the car broken. Brings me back to the days of working in Tel-Aviv, driving around with a busted old car with no air conditioning.

What did I miss?

Well, it seems the peace talks are over. Hmm.. some extra rockets fired from Gaza, another attempt to murder Jews on road in 'west bank'. What else? A 'Jewish' flotilla of one boat was stopped, lefties whine, lefty women supporters of 'Palestinians' are raped by Arabs, elections in the US is coming close - Mark Lamont Hill is an ass clown calling tea party protesters racists - showing 'proof' which is a study by an ass clown as loony and hateful as him.

We didn't start the fire... it was always burning since the world's been turning.

The world keeps turning, I'm heading home.

PS. I hear that koko the monkey, aka, Ahmedinajad gave some bizarre interviews right after a truther speech at UN. Seriously, where are the NY crazy senseless murderers when you need them?

Israel no show at Obama speech: Probably because it's a high holiday - Sukkot

I hope someone with a bigger crowd explains this sooner rather than later, because I feel this might do more harm to Israel than be useful any Obama hater.

Please note and update, as I found these two posts at Jawa and Gateway Pundit.

Pretty damn sure that no Israeli official would be dumb enough to walk out on Obama at the UN... (despite what we know regarding Obama and Israel)

A woman wants to run for Senate from the wrong party, Called a whore on live main stream media TV

Off topic, sorry. I find this story very disgraceful and react appropriately.

Obama: Don't let reality, blood, terror derail march to terrorist Arab Palestinian state

This is what he said: 'Don't let skeptics, fear derail Mideast peace'

This is what it means: 'Don't let reality, blood, terror derail march to terrorist Arab Palestinian state'

No - Thanks, lives are worth far more than dreams based on false premise. Peace isn't the goal stated by Arabs. It's the 'process'.

CNN:Obama: Don't let skeptics, fear derail Mideast peace
President Obama says critics and skeptics to Mideast peace between Israelis and Palestinians should "consider the alternative," according to excerpts released in advance of his United Nations speech planned for Thursday.

"If an agreement is not reached, Palestinians will never know the pride and dignity that comes with their own state. Israelis will never know the certainty and security that comes with sovereign and stable neighbors who are committed to co-existence," he said. "The hard realities of demography will take hold. More blood will be shed.

"This Holy Land will remain a symbol of our differences, instead of our common humanity," he said.

According to his prepared text, Obama said although peace must be made by Israelis and Palestinians, other countries have a responsibility as well.

The alternative is a strong military keeping Israeli civilians safe from terrorist? I pick option 'keep people alive'.

"Those of us who are friends of Israel must understand that true security for the Jewish state requires an independent Palestine -- one that allows the Palestinians people to live with dignity and opportunity," Obama said. "And those of us who are friends of the Palestinians must understand that the rights of the Palestinian people will be won only through peaceful means -- including genuine reconciliation with a secure Israel."

'True security' requires terror sponsoring entity carved out of historic Jewish land and confiscating holy sites? What True Security?! Who is fooled by this gobility gook?

Kangaroo court finds Israel guilty. Of what? Never mind - guilty they say! Guilty!

UN's Human Rights Council Anti Israel's-Existence council, of which Obama's USA is a member, commissioned a 'find guilty' expedition to collect all available accusations and dismiss any Israeli version of events. In their mission statement they already defined the expected conclusion.

The result, a mash of complaints including: The air-conditioner was too strong, the air conditioner was too weak. We couldn't get enough sleep in prison... UN's council can't find a single action Israel is allowed to do to protect itself, or anything wrong with the violence it faces.

The UN continues to assist in squeezing every last drop of hate towards Israel.

UN experts: Flotilla raid 'incredibly violent'
Human Rights Council mission says Israel's military response to Gaza aid sail was 'disproportionate and brutal', violated international law. Panel finds 'clear evidence to support prosecution' against Israel for 'willful killing' and torture

A report by three UN-appointed human rights experts Wednesday said that Israeli forces violated international law and showed "incredible violence" when they raided a Gaza-bound aid flotilla killing nine activists earlier this year.

The UN Human Rights Council's fact-finding mission concluded in a 56-page document that Israel's naval blockade of the Palestinian territory was unlawful because of the humanitarian crisis there, and described the military raid on the flotilla as brutal and disproportionate.

Facts - shmakcs... you say Israel - they say guilty. These people's only expertise is hatred of Israel.

Arabs riot in Jerusalem, one shot dead, Arabs go to funeral - and riot

Surely they riot for 'peace and co-existance'? Oh - they want to live 'Jew-Free' - why - that's racist!

The story doesn't start with a guard murdering an innocent by-standing Arab. It starts with riots, with fire bombs on homes, with torched cars - then the death - then the riots again.

Security guard kills Palestinian in Silwan; riots ensue
Jewish security guard shoots 32-year-old man dead after being pelted with stones in east Jerusalem neighborhood; another Palestinian seriously injured in incident; police say officers, passersby injured from stones hurled during funeral procession

Every death is unfortunate - from what I'm reading, the first death was a result of an attack on the shooter, while what followed was an explosion of hate. There are reports of stabbing of by-standers.

The non peace process: Fayad storms out of confrence, refuses to term 'two states for two people'

It is still not about peace for Arabs. For them the 'process' should lead to one 'Jew free' state, and another Arab state with some Jews.

Fayyad storms out of UN conference after dispute with Ayalon
Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad left the Ad-Hoc Liaison Committee meeting furious due to an argument he had with Israeli Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon, who refused to agree to a version of the meeting's summary because it included the words "two states."

Ayalon told Ynet that he suggested instead that it read "two states for two peoples – Jewish and Palestinian," and demanded guarantees that committee donations don't go towards incitement or boycotting of Israeli goods. (Yitzhak Benhorin, New York)

Hamas burns down Gaza water park

The Jews made them hate their children... When they closed their 'concentration camp Gaza water park' - the excuse was that it lacked proper license, or some other bullcrap, come-on - it's not like the terror regime there really has a functioning bureaucracy. It's the power of the gun in the Jihadi jungle.

Anyways, lack of license turns up to be euphemism now for extortion, that is - lack of 'protection money' - because just like every mafia rule - they burn any business that doesn't pay the goons.

Spencer at Jihad-Watch reasons that it is as Iran's Khomeini's decree:
"Allah did not create man so that he could have fun. The aim of creation was for mankind to be put to the test through hardship and prayer. An Islamic regime must be serious in every field. There are no jokes in Islam. There is no humor in Islam. There is no fun in Islam. There can be no fun and joy in whatever is serious."

Full story at Jerusalem Post: Gaza water park burned down after shut down by Hamas
Unidentified gunmen on Sunday set fore to Crazy Water Park, one of the Gaza Strip's most popular entertainment sites.

Eyewitnesses said that at least 25 assailants participated in the pre-dawn attack. The gunmen beat the two night watchmen, bound their hands and confiscated their mobile phones before setting the complex on fire, they said.

Of course, there's a third option as to why did Hamas-holes burned down the only fun spot in Gazastan, it hurts the image they try to portray of the perpetual victim of Israel's mere existence.

Several reports: Lebanon on verge of Hezbollah coup

My best observation is that the people of Lebanon 'love' these stand-offs, they keep bringing their rivals to the highest tensions, playing an all-or-nothing game - which sometimes ends with nothing, sometimes with Hezbollah fighting in the streets of Beirut.

Several sources:
* An Imminent Coup by Hezbollah in Lebanon (translated from Lebanon Observer)
* Hezbollah preparing to challenge Lebanon authorities (ya Libnan)
* Hezbollah plotting a coup?(upi)

I've called it before: Garbagestan.

Will the military stand by watching as they did last time Hezbollah stormed the streets of Beirut? Will the international community act if they see the 'pro-western' leaders murdered or exiled?

IDF kills top Hamas-hole suspected to be commander recent 4 murders of Jews

At least he won't be freed in any exchange, or be given light sentence to return to his murderous ways.

IDF kills Hamas operative near Tulkarem
Former senior Hamas operative Iyad abu Shilbayeh killed during raid on Palestinian village of Nur al-Shams; 12 other suspects arrested. IDF: Force felt clear danger; investigation ongoing

An IDF force operating east of the West Bank city of Tulkarem overnight killed Iyad abu Shilbayeh, formerly a senior Hamas operative, Ynet learned Friday.

According to the IDF Spokesman's Unit, the force was arresting terror suspects in the Palestinian village of Nur al-Shams when the shooting occurred.

How exactly is an active terrorist a 'former Hamas operative'? Can you just quit and be a goodie two shoes?

If you click on the article, it sounds like the lefties are going to be all over this botched 'arrest' operation for years trying to sue the soldiers.

Hamas bombarded Israeli civilians today with phosphorus bombs

Chemical warfare against civilians, let's not hold our breath to any international human rights group to peep - until after Israel starts new ground campaign.

Four mortar shells fell in a cluster - phosphorus bombs
Four mortar shells were fired today at the Eshkol Regional Council were phosphorus bombs - that turned out to be reviewed. Council security officer told Ynet that the ammunition in the Palestinian organizations did not use it so far.

Deliberate - irrefutable - war crime.

Gaza bombards Israeli major city: Ashdod, Israel strikes back

Sounds like Hamas-holes looking to be taught next lesson in modern war-fare.

War on Peace: Rocket Attack Near Ashdod
Terrorists in Hamas-controlled Gaza escalated rocket fire Wednesday morning and fired what apparently was a Grad missile that flew over Ashkelon and exploded near Ashdod. No one was injured and no damage was reported.

A Kassam rocket and at least three more mortars exploded in the Eshkol region south of Ashkelon in the second round of attacks in several hours, bringing to 10 the total number of rocket and mortar fire. An Eshkol regional council official said mass media mistakenly call the locations of rocket explosions “open areas.”

“These are farm areas and are not in the middle of the desert. People work there. The mortars and rockets fall near them,” he told Voice of Israel government radio. Several agriculture workers have been killed or wounded in previous attacks.

Was the following response a strong enough message? I doubt it.
IAF Attacks Gaza Terrorists after Israel Under Massive Attack
Israeli Air Force bombed targets in Gaza Wednesday, killing at least one terrorist after a massive missile and mortar barrage on southern Israel Wednesday morning.

At least 10 explosions rocked the area from the western Negev to an area between the port cities of Ashkelon and Ashdod. A major electricity generating station and oil and gas pipelines are located in Ashkelon. Ashdod is home to dozens of oil refineries.

Arab sources said one terrorist was killed in an attack at Rafiah, a city the straddles the border between Gaza and Egypt and which is a prime source of smuggling tunnels. The IDF aerial attack came hours before Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas is scheduled to meet with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu at his official residence in Jerusalem.

The fruits of the Turkish/Leftist alliance to alleviate economic pressure on Hamas to be on display very-very soon. Unfortunately, Israeli leadership will not retaliate in full force until a full blown disaster happens.

September historic terror attacks: Munich 1972

Not just 9/11. Truth be told, at this point - Israel can commemorate almost every day of the year for a terror attack.

peace activist Terrorist.

This week in history: Munich massacre in 1972
The Black September terrorist group murders two Israeli athletes and takes nine hostages at the Olympics; during a failed rescue operation, all remaining athletes killed.

On September 5, 1972 a terrorist group known as “Black September” infiltrated the Olympic village in Munich, Germany and took hostage eleven Israeli athletes, in what came to be known as the “Munich massacre.”

It was the second week of the Olympic Games, and the mood was joyful. On the evening of September 4, the Israeli athletes had enjoyed a night out, watching a performance of Fiddler On The Roof and dining with the star of the play, Israeli actor Shmuel Rodensky, before returning to the Olympic village.

Guess who funded the 1972 Olympics terror attack? That's right - that peaceful partner Mahmud Abbas.

Once a terrorist, now a peace partner - still a holocaust denying terrorist. PLO hadn't changed their goals nor their tactics.

Why outsiders don't get American Football? Examine Lions vs Bears robbed touchdown controversy

WAY - OFF TOPIC POST...(apologies, I'm a real person, not a headline collecting machine)

I find it hard to understand how this - is not a touchdown. But the lawyers in charge of crafting football rules - as well as Chicago fans - do understand this. So good job NFL rule makers. Your rules make sense everywhere outside of Michigan...

Image taken from sports illustrated. For once, no swimsuits.

Let's review non-touchdown in video:

Coming from Israel, like the rest of the world - Soccer is #1 sport. I must admit though, without having your heart into it - without cheering for anyone, it gets boring.

Americans found a solution to the potential boredom of watching a group of men chasing a ball - run for no more than 20 seconds at a time, and entertain the viewers with 5 minutes of commercials. I guess it works... (pardon my sarcasm)

OK - seriously, I watched the Lions game yesterday and I now believe that providence might have it against the Lions. Winning is not their thing...

The new middle east: Completely nuclear, and explosive

Kuwait and Jordan turning nuclear too - following Iran. Rockets continue raining on Israeli civilians. IMHO: The terror groups are likely to try topple 'moderate' Arab regimes through attacks on Arab nuclear facilities.

Kuwait: Kuwait to announce launch of nuclear program this year
Gulf state follows Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia in plans to build nuclear reactors for energy purposes.

Israel: 10th rocket hits South since High Holidays began
None hurt in Kassam attack from Gaza; Sha'ar Hanegev communities to submit High Court petition requesting more fortified structures.

Also: Iran: Dimona is in Our Crosshairs
An unnamed senior officer in the Iranian Revolutionary Guards warned Thursday that Iran would strike Israel if it is targeted, no matter who the attacker is.

According to the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Rai, the officer said, "Iran has thousands of surface-to-surface missiles, including improved Zelzal-2 and Al-Fatah 110 missiles, with which it will set alight all of the oil towns, facilities and infrastructures of the neighboring countries, if these serve as platforms for attacking it.”

Any attack upon Iran will lead to a massive missile attack on Israel, he said, including the nuclear power plant at Dimona, no matter where the attack on Iran originated from. This is taken as referring to a possible attack by the United States.

Tick-tock....

Obama doesn't support Israel's claim to be Jewish state?

Unsurprisingly, this renewed 'peace process' - is as appears - again about slicing Israeli territory in exchange for nothing. Less than nothing.

Obama Sidesteps PA’s Refusal to Call Israel’ A Jewish State’
U.S. President Barack Obama has sidestepped a chance to back Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s demand that the Palestinian Authority call Israel a Jewish State, but he told reporters that the Prime Minister should accept Abbas’s demand and extend the building freeze for four more months.

The freeze on building Jewish homes in Judea and Samaria, and the issue of Israel’s being a Jewish State, are the major demands that PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas and Prime Minister Netanyahu have made for direct talks to address the issue of establishing the PA as a new Arab country.

The Prime Minister told the Cabinet Sunday morning, "I hear about two states, but I don't hear two peoples."

In a press conference Friday, President Obama directly told reporters that Israel should meet Abbas' demand but ignored the Israeli demand, stated in a reporter's comment that “Abbas…said the Palestinians won’t recognize Israel as a Jewish state.” The reporter continued, “The question is, if these talks fail at an early stage, will this administration disengage? Or maybe you’re ready to step up and deepen your personal involvement.”

President Obama did not refer to the “Jewish State” issue except to clearly imply that its definition depends on Israel’s surrendering all of the areas restored to the country in the Six-Day War in 1967.

In a reply to another question if Israel "should extend the settlement moratorium as a gesture to peace," President Obama commented that “it makes sense [for Israel] to extend that moratorium," which is due to expire September 26.

There's a video if you follow the link.

ADL calls Time mag cover anti-Semitic, sort of

ADL comes in contrast to the group later in this post:
ADL: Time magazine Israel cover story rehashes anti-Semitic lies
...

In a letter to Managing Editor Richard Stengel, Foxman called on the magazine’s editors to issue an apology to readers, both for the timing of the article and its calling up age-old anti-Semitic stereotypes about Jews and money.

“The insidious subtext of Israeli Jews being obsessed with money echoes the age-old anti-Semitic falsehood that Jews care about money above any other interest, in this case achieving piece with the Palestinians,” wrote Mr. Foxman.

“At the same time, Time ignores the very real sacrifices made by Israel and its people in the pursuit of peace and the efforts by successive Israeli governments of reconciliation," the ADL said.

If you recall, recently the ADL denounced the intent to build GZM, not denying the right to do so - but questioning the motives and intents of those who intend to build it. (like Obama, only they did make a statement against 'the wisdom of the act'). Well, some Jews in America can't help themselves, the solution to everything is co-existence, interfaith, appeasement.

Jewish groups bolster support for U.S. Muslims

In recent days various Jewish organizations, communities and religious leaders have stepped up and denounced Islamophobia in the U.S. that is seemingly on the rise.

Their actions answer the call of U.S. Muslim communities, worried about provocations during Iftar holidays. This year, one of the three days of the Muslim holiday coincide with commemorations of the 2001 World Trade Center attacks.

Several Jewish leaders took part in an emergency interfaith summit in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday that called for an effort by followers of all faiths to reach out to the Muslim American community. The summit was organized by the Islamic Society of North America.

The Central Conference of American Rabbis (CCAR) issued a statement on Wednesday that condemned the proposed September 11 "International Burn a Quran Day" by Reverend Terry Jones of The Dove World Outreach Center of Gainesville, Florida.

The organization that represents 2,000 Reform rabbis said that the planned event evokes “Talmud burnings in the 13th and 16th centuries and the burning of Jewish books in the 1930s by the Nazis."

“The burning of books is a powerfully symbolic act which condemns to the flames not only the words contained therein but those who would live by those words as well,” rabbis said in a statement.

“In the 20th century, we tragically witnessed the prophetic truth of Heinrich Heine's words, 'Where they burn books, they will, in the end, burn human beings too.' We call on all people of reason and good faith, to condemn this incendiary act and the blindness and hatred which motivate it," the rabbis' statement said.

Various U.S. government officials have spoken of their opposition to the plan to publicly burn copies of the Koran. On Wednesday, Secretary of State Hilary Clinton, Attorney General Eric Holder, and commander of the U.S. forces in Afghanistan General David Petraeus all condemned the planned action.

Stop protecting the aggressors. Muslims are not victims here. Jewish liberals: get your heads out of your asses and see what Muslims are doing.

Arabs continue murderous campaign against Jewish civilians

As the world continues to be worried about poor Arabs in Gaza getting fed, dressed, and properly diapered:

Third kassam rocket hits western Negev towns
No damage, injuries reported as rocket hits open area; since start of Rosh Hashana four rockets have been fired.

A third kassam rocket was fired from the Gaza Strip on Thursday evening and landed in an open area in the Shaar Hanegev regional council.

No injuries or damage were reported.

Priorities, every politician in the USA rushes to prevent some kook from burning the book of hate called Koran. Meanwhile, Israel is pressured to give in to the murderous Arab terrorists.

In my original post, I mistook a shooting incidents near Maale Edumim for a terror attack. Initial reports were not clear, however it turns out the victims were Arabs who engaged in some sort of a dispute with rival group: 1 dead, 1 seriously injured from gunfire near Maale Adumim

Shanah Tovah

Have a great and peaceful happy new Jewish year.

US artists in favor of anti-Jewish discrimination in real-estate

They are so noble - in favor of peace and ... bla-bla-bla. For some reason some 150 douche-bags butt in and voice anti-settlement opinions. Look, it's not that I support this or that - I just believe that these air-heads have no clue regarding what they opine on. To have some historic perspective, one must understand that Jews have always lived in Jerusalem and Jericho and Gaza and Hebron. It was the racist Arabs who drove Jews out in 1948, not the other way around. The so called support for peace these moonbats are voicing is in fact support for 'Juden-free' society. They think they support peace, they support racism and discrimination.

It is up to the people in Israel to decide on what to do with the land freed in a just defensive war. It is not stolen land, and if Israel does find a way to make peace, it is up to Israel to do what it feels is right.

US artists’ support for settlement boycott spreading fast
‘Those of us who care about Israel feel the settlements’ presence is a negation of peace,’ Theodor Bikel tells ‘Post.’

NEW YORK – Over 150 American artists, including actresses Julianne Moore and Cynthia Nixon, playwright Tony Kushner and writer Wallace Shawn, have signed a letter in support of Israeli actors who refuse to perform in the West Bank.

Backed by the San Francisco-based Jewish Voice for Peace, the letter states that the settlement in Ariel is “clearly illegal,” and that any performance in the West Bank city’s new cultural center would have the effect, intentional or otherwise, of legitimizing Israel’s claim to what they refer to as occupied territory.

It’s thrilling to think that these Israeli theatre artists have refused to allow their work to be used to normalize a cruel occupation which they know to be wrong, which violates international law and which is impeding the hope for a just and lasting peace for Israelis an [sic] Palestinians alike,” the letter reads.

“They’ve made a wonderful decision, and they deserve the respect of people everywhere who dream of justice. We stand with them.”

The letter’s signatories include actors Ed Asner and Mandy Patimkin, actress Vanessa Redgrave, playwright Eve Ensler and director Harold Prince.

The idea to write the letter came from Israeli artists, Jewish Voice for Peace director Rebecca Vilkomerson told The Jerusalem Post.

“They were getting a lot of heat from Benjamin Netanyahu on down for their stance, and really felt the need for some support, so they asked us for help,” Vilkomerson said.

Perhaps the saddest part regarding these clueless 'celebrities' - is that no-one really cares what they think, unless it is put on a front page of a daily paper and shoved in your face. At which point you say - who said what? Fuck'em, who - the fuck do they think they are? Who the frickety fuck are those self absorbed nobodies? Think Jews shouldn't live in Jerusalem? Want to guarantee peace only when Jews accept a promised land at the bottom of the sea? Go back to your pot pipe and shut the hell up dumb, ignorant no-bodies.

As school year opens in Israel, friendly Arabs send mortar shell on school 30 minutes before class

Depraved sub-human monsters.

Mortar shell hits near school 30 minutes before class
No injuries reported at Sha'ar Hanegev kibbutz; building, only reinforced at the roof, sustains light damage; studies to continue as usual.

A mortar shell fired from the Gaza Strip on Wednesday morning landed near several childrens' school buildings in a Sha'ar Hanegev regional council kibbutz, some 30 minutes prior to the students' scheduled arrival.

One of the buildings sustained light damage, and no injuries were reported. The school building impacted by the mortar was reinforced only at the roof and not at the side walls, like other protected buildings in the area.

Security officials decided to let school continue as usual. Children will remain in the reinforced buildings and will not play in the exterior yard in the following hours.

Schools are operating on the eve of Rosh Hashana and Friday as usual.

While the media turns against Israel, Abbas showing true colors

In case you've missed it, TIME magazine and CNN as well as others are showing their bias and hatred to Israel these days:
TIME: “Israelis Too Busy Making Money And Partying On Stolen Arab Land To Make Peace”

Time Reporter Defends Controversial Cover Story
LA Times: Israelis do not have high hopes in peace talks
Talks barely began, CNN finds Israel guilty of failed peace talks
See a pattern?
TIME Mag Editor: It’s Too Bad That Israeli Wall Worked

Yet notice how real reporting clashes with the opinion writers distorted hateful view of the world:
Abbas: No 'historic compromise' on Jerusalem, borders
In interview with 'Al-Quds', PA president says Palestinians won't recognize Israel as a Jewish state, accuses Netanyahu of trying to "strip" Israeli-Arabs of their rights.

Friday, September 03, 2010

Talks barely began, CNN finds Israel guilty of failed peace talks

Disgraceful anti-Israel propaganda.

The headline I'm looking at is the one on the RSS feed, which differs from the article once clicking on it:
Settlements stall Mideast peace talks

After two days of meetings and talks led by President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Israeli and Palestinian leaders leave Washington deadlocked over the contentious issue of Israeli settlements.

How can the settlements be the main issue, if Israel has freezed them and is proclaiming willingness to evacuate most? What about REALITY as a true cause of stall? (two days - and a stall - what bullshit!)

* Abbas has no mandate
* Arabs don't want to sign any final treaty
* Terror continues
* PLO was driven out of Gaza, which is ruled by Iranian proxy Hamas
* Iran, Syria and Hezbollah threaten with regional nuclear war
* Arabs refuse to compromise on any tiny issue, regardless of historic Jewish rights

Yep - Israel is at fault, thanks CNN for clearing that up.

What the left believes; TIME Editor: It's too bad the Israeli wall worked

Let's not ask him about the effectiveness of the Nazi machine - we might be horrified to hear what he REALLY thinks.

Gateway Pundir: TIME Mag Editor: It’s Too Bad That Israeli Wall Worked
Come again?
TIME Magazine editor Richard Stengel told the Morning Joe folks today that it’s just too bad that Israeli wall worked so well keeping the terrorists out of Israel.
Yes. He really said that.

Time magazine editor Richard Stengel:
“They [Israel] haven’t had a car bombing in two and a half years and the sad truth, really, is that the wall with the West Bank has actually worked. I mean, most Israelis in the course of their lives don’t come into contact with any Palestinians at all, the wall is functioning.”
The only real sad truth - is that the lefty stronghold over the media is a stain on humanity.

Failed 3rd daily terror attack

Make road-blocks, not faux-peace. (forget the love-not-war nonsense)

Report: Israel comes under fire near Ofra; none injured
An Israeli driving between Shilo and Ofra in the West Bank reported he was fired upon. No injuries were reported.

Security forces are canvassing the area

I suspect Israelis might wish their soccer team to travel the west bank a bit more often... (as of now, 1: 1 Israel vs Malta - look-up translation of 'Bizayon' - update: 3:1 to Israel, many horrified by Israeli team's shortcomings)

Hope and Change: 'End the Occupation'

I don't hate this speech as I'd expected to. I'm just pessimistic.

Feel the enthusiasm...

Relevant 'occupation' statement:
The purpose of these talks is clear. These will be direct negotiations between Israelis and Palestinians. These negotiations are intended to resolve all final status issues. The goal is a settlement, negotiated between the parties, that ends the occupation which began in 1967 and results in the emergence of an independent, democratic and viable Palestinian state, living side by side in peace and security with a Jewish state of Israel and its other neighbors. That’s the vision we are pursuing.

Coverage at 'Israel National News' (settler's news source):Obama: Direct Talks Will 'End the Occupation'
U.S. President Barack Obama announced Wednesday afternoon he is optimistic his team would succeed in jumpstarting direct talks aimed at ending Israel’s “occupation” and leading to formation of a new Palestinian Authority country.

The talks, scheduled to begin Thursday, have already spawned two terrorist attacks this week alone. Two days ago, a Hamas terrorist cell ambushed and murdered two Jewish men and two Jewish women near Kiryat Arba, one of whom was nine months pregnant. Last night (Wednesday) another Jewish couple was wounded in a separate attack on the same road, near the Rimonim junction north of Jerusalem. Hamas also claimed responsibility for the second attack as well, along with a renegade Fatah faction, the Al-Namir group that said it was part of the Fatah-linked Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades terrorist group.

Speaking to reporters prior to a working dinner with Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, PA Chairman and Fatah leader Mahmoud Abbas, Jordan’s King Abdullah II, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, and Quartet Middle East envoy Tony Blair, Obama acknowledged the task would not be easy.

“After all, there’s a reason that the two-state solution has eluded previous generations,” he said.

Former PA head of security vows: 'We'll hit Hamas with an iron fist'

The same guy who participated and coordinated terror attacks on Israel in Gaza at early 2000-s riots, who eventually was chased away from Gaza by Hamas. The truth is that not a single PA official has a tiny bit of credibility.

PA official vows: 'We'll hit Hamas with an iron fist'
Fatah official Dahlan says negotiations doomed to fail because US is biased in Israel's favor; PA police promise Hamas crack down.

Palestinian Authority security forces have vowed to arrest Hamas members and bring order to the West Bank, according to a Thursday report by London daily Asharq Al-Awsat.

"We arrested hundreds of Hamas members, and we'll continue to do so," a high-ranking Palestinian Authority official told Asharq. "We will prevent them, however we can, from bringing anarchy to the West Bank. We will hit them with an iron fist."

Interesting twist - talks are set to fail - blaming Obama?

Every time I hear of fists I'm thinking of 'the people's cube'.

Terror attacks become a daily matter:Another West Bank shooting: 2 Israelis hurt

Culture of death produces nothing but murder.

Another West Bank shooting: 2 Israelis hurt
Terror returns to West Bank: Two Israelis wounded after shots fired at their vehicle east of Ramallah Wednesday night. Army spokesman: Victims managed to get out of vehicle, hid in nearby wadi before calling for help

Another shooting attack: An Israeli couple was wounded Wednesday night in a West Bank shooting attack after Palestinian terrorists opened fire at an Israeli vehicle traveling in the Ramallah area.

The shooting victims were identified as Jordan Rift Valley residents Shira and Moshe Morano.

Hamas' military wing, the al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades, claimed responsibility for Wednesday's shooting attack. Meanwhile, Palestinian Authority security forces continued a wave of arrests targeting Hamas members in the West Bank.

The two shooting victims in Wednesay's attack were a man, who sustained moderate wounds, and a woman, who was lightly hurt - both in their 30s. Magen David Adom officials said the wounded man sustained leg injuries, while the woman suffered from blows as result of the vehicle overturning.

PA: Hamas trying to thawrt talks

...
They're not thwarting talks, as we all know Abbas isn't willing to sign any final peace agreement, nor can he implement it. They are murdering Jews and handing out candies to celebrate the blood spilled, while the PA issues non-condemnations and secretly cheer for ongoing slaughter.

Make peace with these kids celebrating the murder of a pregnant mom of 6

Peace - at this point - is euphemism for what? Freedom to murder Jews? I believe that's called Nazism.

How old are these blood thirsty shit heads?

Note in the article that AP mentions the kid is carrying a 'toy gun' - they always carry 'toy guns' there - which shoot real bullets. Which murder pregnant moms of 6.
