10 wounded in terror attack at busy Jerusalem intersection
Ten people were wounded - one seriously, two moderately and seven lightly - on Monday night in a terror attack at a busy Jerusalem intersection.
Rescue services said an Arab driver plowed his pedestrians into a group of people at Zahal Square.
Police said the driver was shot and killed by citizens.
The intersection is near the Old City's Jaffa Gate.
Monday's attack was the third of its kind since July - where a terrorist used a vehicle as a weapon rather than a gun or a bomb. In late July, an Arab bulldozer driver from east Jerusalem rammed his construction vehicle into a city bus and several cars on a central thoroughfare in the capital, wounding 15 people before being shot dead by a Druse border police officer and a civilian passerby.
The early afternoon attack on King David Street was seen as a failed copy of July 2's lethal bulldozer rampage on Jaffa Road in which Husam Taysir Dwayat killed three people and wounded dozens before he was killed
My dumb questions:
Will Israel's government FINALLY do something against the terrorist's family who are apparently citizens of Israel again?
Will anyone interrogate the terrorist's Imam?
One thing is obvious - this is not a "spontaneous" action, it's the 3rd such attack of the same nature in Jerusalem. This is obviously orchestrated. There were 2 other different attacks were a gunman opened fire on teens at a Yeshiva, and an attempt to murder where only a security guard was hurt. In another recent incident - fires where shot at the old city of Jerusalem at soldiers and the perpetrator managed to escape.
This is the Muslim reply to Israeli good will gestures which included release of terrorists, and a special Ramadan dinner with Israeli president.
This is how Muslims say happy Rosh Hashana. This is what "peace" with the Palestinians is like.
