Wouldn't you get confused if your pastor was Wright, and your best buddies are from Syria and Pakistan and you "organize" events for Farahan?


No - he's not a Muslim and I'm not suggesting anything here. He is a lawyer, and aren't lawyers well trained in saying about everything "alleged". My alleged faith... For someone who is supposedly an excellent speaker - that's more than a gaff. Is it so hard to say my alleged faith? How can "alleged faith" come out as "Muslim faith"?

To be completely fair, he was in mid sentence, and put in context it is clear what he was saying. Having being stopped and corrected by the reporter only exacerbated the situation.
