Math for idiots: If it takes 1 week to run out of money with 1 Billion giveaway, how long will another 2 Billion last?

Truly puzzling. Is congress assuming that after it gives away 4500$ to everyone who owns a worthless car, there won't be more people lining up to get free money?

Some are pointing to this story as if: "Look the DNC programs are working! People are lining up to rescue the auto business", where in fact - sensible people are taking advantage of yet another government hand out at tax payer's expense. Of course congress doesn't think twice about releasing an extra 2 Billion, we are all accustomed by now to congress spending money it doesn't have.

House Approves $2 Billion Boost for 'Cash for Clunkers' Program
The House passed emergency legislation Friday approving an additional $2 billion for the "cash for clunkers" program, whose immediate popularity this week threatened to sink the fledgling program.

A Senate vote is expected next week on the emergency infusion and could come as soon as Monday. The House scrambled to schedule their vote on the final day of their session before a month-long summer recess.

Skipping over regular procedure to obtain an immediate floor vote, House Democrats' presented a bill that would shuffle around funds from the Recovery and Reinvestment Act, an emergency stimulus for the original $1 billion budget for rebates on new cars that lawmakers worried had been exhausted in only a week. The bill passed 316-109.

President Obama said he was "very pleased" that lawmakers had moved quickly to save the program, but Republicans blasted the speed of the vote, accusing Democrats of jamming the legislation through. The bill includes hand-written marks on its margins, a sign of the haste in which the legislation was written.

Hand written comments, I can only imagine what those look like; "Oh yea, and nother 10K to my uncle buck. And oh, I forgot - LOL - isn't this bill gr8!? OMG heheheeehhe"

Obama places a "Human Rights Anti-Israrli, Pro Al Qaueda" lawyer with no experience at Department of Justice National Security Division

What could go wrong? Israelis and Jews, watch your back with this administration.

That's your Justice Department ... or al-Qaeda's [Andy McCarthy]

At the New York Post, Meghan Clyne profiles the Obama/Holder Justice Department's latest fabulous addition, Jennifer Daskal, formerly "senior counterterrorism counsel" at Human Rights Watch. Daskal has no prosecutorial experience; she is, however, an activist of the hard left, which now evidently qualifies lawyers to serve as political appointees in DOJ's National Security Division. She's been tapped to shape detainee policy as part of Obama's Detention Policy Task Force (that's the task force I declined an invitation to meet with this past spring, as explained in this letter to Attorney General Holder).

Human Rights Watch, as Mark Hemingway noted here on Wednesday, is now embroiled in a scandal over its fundraising method in that bastion of human rights, Saudi Arabia (namely, bragging to Saudis about its anti-Israel stands). Meghan recounts that, while at HRW,

Daskal never missed a chance to give Gitmo detainees the benefit of the doubt while assuming the worst about US government intentions. She has called for a "truth commission" to investigate Bush anti-terror policies, and was even unhappy with Team Obama before joining it.

In February, Justice asserted the state-secrets privilege to avoid disclosing details of the CIA's interrogation program; Daskal called it "a huge disappointment . . . inconsistent with the commitment to transparency and openness promised by the new administration."

Back when five Gitmo terrorists, including 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheik Mohammed, announced their intention to confess, Daskal refused to accept their guilt: "In light of the men's severe mistreatment, the judge should require a full and thorough factual inquiry to determine whether or not these pleas are voluntary." Maybe she didn't hear the outburst from one of the five at the end of his hearing: "I hope the jihad will continue and strike the heart of America with all kinds of weapons of mass destruction."

Daskal thinks America is guilty of torture — but she has an odd understanding of it. In a 54-page report on Gitmo detainees' allegedly deteriorating mental health, she laments how one detainee, "a self-styled poet," "found it was nearly impossible to write poetry anymore because the prison guards would only allow him to keep a pen or pencil in his cell for short periods of time." Quick, call the Red Cross!

Then there's the attention Daskal lavished on Canadian-born Omar Khadr, a detainee she says is being denied "his rights as a child." (Human Rights Watch has urged Defense Secretary Bob Gates to transfer Khadr to courts where he'd be treated as a juvenile.) He's an adult now, but Khadr was 15 when apprehended on an Afghan battlefield — where, US troops say, he launched the grenade that killed Sgt. First Class Christopher Speer.

Sgt. Layne Morris, who was wounded by the same grenade, calls claims that Khadr should be treated as a child "laughable." And he says: "The fact that she took on that young man's case — and has argued the ridiculous things that she has — and is now appointed to the Justice Department, where she brings in those same thought processes and prejudices — it doesn't bode well for the security of our country."

Nope, it sure doesn't.

The ultimate proof that "peace groups" are just anti semetic - pro war against Israel ass wipes

Evidence A:
Code Pink Protesting Israeli Cosmetics Company, Claim They're Made From "Stolen" Palestinian Resources....

That's not an "anti war" group. That's an antisemetic group.

Evidence B:
Assploding Irony Alert: US Leftist Group "Peace Now" Urges Senators Not to Sign Letter Encouraging Peace Between Israel and Arab World....

Case closed. "Peace Groups" are pro-war anti Israel groups period.

Southern Accent? Michigander Accent? Israeli?

First, let's have some fun with Johny Cash:

There's absolutely no southern accent where I come from. Not even a french accent - nor a Spanish one. It's Israeli. It sounds like someone struggling to distinguish any difference between long and short vowels in the English language, in combination with elusive R-s,L-s and a few other letters too.

Yet my elder daughter moved when she was 1 and half year old. She doesn't really know Hebrew, despite hearing me speak it all her life. Her latest fun - is pretending to talk in an Israeli accent. To which I say, I'd be fine with it - if she'd actually try and learn some Hebrew....

Will the Yankee call it dumb? ;-)

Netanya - Galatasaray, 1-4 - live stream, humiliation in progress

Friendly Update 8/6: Current rematch link. From this website: channelsurfing.net

Update II - Well the link went to the wrong webcast... so I guess you missed it. Just FYI - Galatasaray showed Netanya who's boss and teared them apart with 5-0.

Original Post
All I had to do to find this one is google. It's usually so much more difficult.

justin.tv soccer live

Go Netanya!

Half-time, meanwhile I hear that Hapoel Tel Aviv is playing in sweden where they are facing fierce anti-semite Arab crowds. (not even soccer fans - just haters of Jews and Israel)

The Swedes are doing their best to control their "replacement population" from obstructing the friendly match:
No calls for boycott when Israeli team visits Sweden again

As could have been predicted, Galatasaray took the lead at the beginning of second half.

53rd minute... 3-1: it's starting to look embarrassing. Could get much worse for the tiny Israeli team.

73rd minute... 4-1; yes it is humiliation at this point. At least the Turkish playters are justifying their high pay right now.

* Israeli broadcasters just mentioned how much they love Galatasaray. Hmmm... "they are grouping as a better team right in front of us at Netanya's expense. Wait fellas - do it after next week. After the game against Netanya in Turkey. We are huge fans of Galatasaray here in Israel." (not exact quote)

A new view point on Hollywood and media bias

First, the fun part - I recommend reading the following two hilarious cracked.com posts:
* 6 Movies Based on a True Story (That Are Also Full of Shit)

* 5 Things Movie Trailers Need to Stop Doing

Just for fun again, check out this completely idiotic trailer of what I can only assume is a really D quality movie:

OK, now to the opinion part:

Since Hollywood is so full of shit - and can't keep a story straight whether it's based on real life, or based on a book. Also, once the movie is made - they continue and lie to the viewers in the trailers; I've come to the conclusion that their portrayal of lefty causes (the day after tomorrow) and politicians (Charlie Wilson's War) - is simply a parallel of how they describe other stories, unabashed made up lies. When they portray something as positive - one should have enough skepticism to realize that it is all bizarro world. Up is down and down is up. When they say in Charlie Wilson's War positive things about John Murtha - one should realize that this is the point of the movie where they are saying - you know we are full of shit. When leftism comes out in positive light - a sensible person should understand he is watching a sci-fi movie in a political wool clothing.

It's a complement to rightists that Hollywood gets it so wrong. Because Hollywood rarely does get it right.

When the script writers work extra hard to make lefties look good, and rightist look bad - it shows, and tells me that this is how they'd like things to be in real life - and they know it is very much not the case.

All of that being said - I must say that many, from innocent youngsters to the elderly do not realize this reality. Hell - would you think of the schizophrenic main character of "Beautiful Mind" as an antisemite bi-sexual person whose very much not a hero after watching the movie if no one would ever tell you that he was? (I'm not saying that, cracked.com is)

A good replacement to screaming "serenity now" while reading the god awful news constantly being streamed.

Obama - selling embassy posts. Chicago politics in the white house

Hey, remember that Chicago politics issue everyone seemed to not care about last election? And when the governor, a certain weird looking hair guy called Blagojevic tried to sell a senate seat?

=

As things turn out, a former Clinton era ambassador is saying the following:
Obama's Embassies for Sale
As the Senate confirms more big-league Democratic donors to be U.S. ambassadors—including sending Donald Beyer, who raised over $500,000 for Obama’s campaign, to Switzerland—former diplomat Dennis Jett, ambassador to Mozambique and Peru under President Clinton, says the president is just like his crony-appointing predecessors.

It is a system that Rod Blagojevich would love. While it amounts to little more than the selling of government jobs, it is also perfectly legal. Not only is it not against the law, it is a time-honored tradition. Yet continuing this sordid practice cannot help but have a negative impact on national security. The positions being sold are not those of minor functionaries; they are ones that really matter in an ever more globalized and dangerous world.

Despite the obvious damage, this corrupt exercise is repeated every four years—and there seems to be no hope it is going to change under President Obama. The “system,” of course, is the awarding of plum ambassadorial postings to major campaign donors—cash for cachet.

Interesting upcoming soccer match: Turkey's Galatasaray vs. Israeli Maccabi Netanya

Soccer fans are hot headed nationalists, at this point of bilateral crisis between the two "friendly" nations - will this match cause any political consequences?

GALATASARAY OF TURKEY TO PLAY AGAINST MACCABI NETANYA OF ISRAEL
Galatasaray soccer team of Turkey will play against Maccabi Netanya of Israel in the UEFA Europe League third qualifying round.
The match will be played at the Bloomfield Stadium in Tel Aviv on July 30.

Nikolay Ivanov of Russia will be the referee of the match. His aides are Nikolai Golubev, Mikhail Erovenko and Sergey Karasev.

The match will kick off at 19.30 local time.

The second leg will be played at Istanbul's Ali Sami Yen Stadium on August 6.

Galatasaray beat FC Tobol of Kazakhstan in the second qualifying round. (UK-AÖ)

Another interesting fact, Netanya's team is owned and managed by a German business... the plot thickens.

I'm more of a Maccabi Haifa fan. Go green. (I think there's a match today against some tiny Euro-middle-of-nowhere team)

Surefire Instant Best Seller: Malkin's Culture of Corruption

Should have pre-ordered, in November 2008....

Isn't it funny how lefties keep making claims about right wingers being illiterate and unable to write/read books... all the while it is the conservative political books which become best sellers topping the charts for months at a time?

Can we pre-order Palin's book?
Wish list: the Palin and Malkin book.
Wish list 2: Palin and Malkin team for presidency/vp...

Your next government sponsored car - a funny video clip

Just saw yesterday the first episode of the latest season of the Tracy Ullman's "state of the union". I know it was broadcasted months ago - but I just got showtime again.

Well... the first season was much funnier - and the first episode of the second is soooo far left. The part making fun of Laura Bush as if the Bush family would trash and steal from the white house... well, if any lefty would realize what the Clintons did when they left. It was no joke. But what can we expect. Any media poking fun at lefty politicians? Actually Tracy did poke enough fun at them at the first season which is why we were a bit disappointed.

Anyways, the following IMHO was the funniest part of the season premier:

It's the Body-Trap car... because the Prius is too much of a gas guzzler. ;-)

Gitmo guard files sexual harassment complaint against female reporter

Just don't say the media hates the troops... those nice "journalists" are apparently in love with people bent on murdering Americans, and just can't help themselves from badgering those who volunteered to serve and protect everyone from such scum.

The story comes from the insane left blogosphere, and the following text reflects that:
First found on "Gawker", that hateful cesspool will not get a link from me. It's there, and listed on google news.

Here's the apparent "origin"
media bistro.com: Man Bites Dog: U.S. Navy Commander Files Sex Complaint Against Female Miami Herald Journo

FishbowlDC Exclusive: US Navy Commander Jeffrey D. Gordon has filed a sexual harassment complaint against the Miami Herald's Carol Rosenberg.

FishbowlDC obtained a copy of the July 22, 2009 letter addressed to Miami Herald Senior VP and Executive Editor Anders Gyllenhaal. In the complaint, Gordon calls for a "thorough investigation" to put an end to Rosenberg's "appalling behavior" that includes comments about the Commander's sexual orientation.

The complaint outlines examples of Rosenberg's alleged "abusive and degrading, comments of an explicitly sexual nature."

Gordon writes:

To me, in front of another journalist with reference to why 9/11 co-defendant Mustafa Al Hawsawi was seated on a pillow in court:

"Have you ever had a red hot poker shoved up your a**? Have you ever had a broomstick shoved up your a**? Have you ever had anything in your a**? How would you know how it feels if it never happened to you? Admit it, you liked it? No wonder why you like to stay in South Beach on your Miami visits."

Rosenberg, to CNN's Jamie McIntyre in front of roughly 15 journalists in the Guantanamo Commission's press center:

To Jamie - "Aren't you in the BOQ (Bachelor Officers Quarters)? I didn't think you were in tent city because these people (military public affairs escorts) are so far up your ass that I figured you must be in the BOQ."

To Me [Gordon] - "Why isn't he in the BOQ? You're kissing his ass so much that I can't believe that you're letting him stay with the rest of us. Do you love him?"

The Commander claims that Rosenberg said to members of the press and enlisted military men and women: "Seeing him [Gordon] topless in tent city was the most repulsive sight I've ever seen in my life." Most recently, while walking to court, Gordon says that Rosenberg obstructed an AP pool photographer from taking his picture, saying "Well, I know you like to have your picture taken to show people you are actually working down here, but guess what, not today..."

Gordon, who also serves as the Pentagon Spokesman for Western Hemisphere and Guantanamo issues also accuses Rosenberg of "bullying" reporters from various outlets including New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, Fox News, CBC, Der Siegel and Al Jazeera. He claims that over the years, Rosenberg has labeled her peers in the press and Gordon's colleagues "bitches," "stupid," "lazy," "incompetent," "Nazis," and "Saddam Hussein-like."

A full copy of Gordon's complaint here.

Subway in Tel-Aviv?! I thought I'd never see the day

I still can't believe they are actually doing this. It's always been out of reach of Israeli government budget - so they let the metro traffic hell expand, and expand, and improving highways and snail-train never did seem to do the trick.

Winter traffic congestion in Tel Aviv
Before reading about the upcoming subway, consider that other options are still on the table - in particular - punishing motorists who need to enter the countries major metropolitan:
Tel Aviv to introduce congestion charge by 2009 (I don't know if this was actually implemented, this was the plan in 2008)

Is this really happening?
Train of thought
The 23rd-floor office of Yochanan Or, CEO of Metro Transit Solutions (MTS), the company in charge of building and operating Tel Aviv's first subway system - an NIS 10 billion project, the first of its kind in Israel - overlooks half of Tel Aviv. On Or's office walls are two charts. One is a map of the city, crisscrossed by colorful lines in all directions. The other looks like a cross between a building diagram and an ant farm. The map depicts the projected routes. The diagram is an incredibly elaborate timetable that shows what has to be done before the work is complete.

If everything goes according to plan, when Or looks down on the city five years from now, he will see fewer cars, buses and taxis driving through the streets. On clear days, when he stretches his neck to look to the north and to the south, he will see trains emerging from underground. Today, however, it takes more than a good imagination to envision this future. One needs to put on rose-tinted glasses to look past the challenges facing the project.

The idea of running a subway beneath the busy streets of Tel Aviv is not a new one. Plans for such a project have been placed on the desks of every prime minister, transportation minister and Tel Aviv mayor since the founding of the state. Natan Alterman wrote a poem about the missed opportunity for a subway as far back as 1936, when Tel Aviv had only 150,000 residents. Today, when more than 3 million people live in the greater metropolitan area and the streets are congested and polluted, a fast, clean and efficient mass transit system seems more necessary than ever.

For a variety of reasons, most central being the different government agencies and planning committees' inability to agree on a viable arrangement, none of the plans have come to fruition and Tel Aviv, though advanced in other areas, still has a serious transportation problem. All that was supposed to change in 1997, when the Finance and Transportation ministries formed the government-owned Metropolitan Mass Transit System (NTA) to provide solutions to traffic problems in the Dan Region.

AFTER PICKING up the reins, NTA quickly hired a team of 90 experts and shortly afterwards presented its vision - a network of seven color-coded transportation lines spreading from Ra'anana and Kfar Saba north of Tel Aviv, all the way to Rehovot in the south and Ramle, Petah Tikva and Yehud in the east. The plan calls for a mixture of underground and surface rails as well as lines that will be based on BRT (Bus Rapid Transit). Altogether, the system is designed to spread over 176 kilometers and projected to carry 1.42 million people a day once it's completed. NTA has calculated that such a system, once running, will save the economy 48 million work hours a year, reduce CO2 emissions by 201,000 tons per year and reduce 6,500 car accidents every year.

NTA Director Yishai Dotan calls the system "essential." He likens the current public transportation situation, in which a network of trains and highways feed commuters into the city, where they then get stuck in gridlock and need to search for parking, to a grand, state-of-the-art waterway that brings water into a city and then distributes it to people's homes by oxcarts and buckets.

"It's ridiculous that people who drive across half the country in 50 minutes then have to spend the same amount of time traversing the few blocks to where they want to go in the city," Dotan tells The Jerusalem Post.

THE FIRST line on which planning was completed was the Red Line, the system's backbone, which starts from Petah Tikva, runs through Bnei Brak, Ramat Gan, Tel Aviv and Jaffa and ends in Bat Yam. The line, which spans 23 kilometers (half of it underground), will take passengers from one end to the other in about 45 minutes and is planned to carry nearly 400,000 passengers every day. During rush hour, trains will stop to pick up and drop off passengers at the 33 stations every two or three minutes. The trains will run from 5:30 a.m. until midnight every day except Shabbat.

In October 2003 an international tender for the Red Line was put out. The tender offered a B.O.T. (Build Operate Transfer) model for 32 years, after which it will be turned over to the government. Four groups, all made up of Israeli and foreign partnerships, took up the challenge and three ended up with qualified bids. On December 31, 2006, the winner - MTS, a group made up of six companies (two Israeli and four international) - was announced and given the green light to go ahead and start detailed planning and construction on the line. One of the main reasons that MTS was chosen, aside from its bid, which was NIS 400 million lower than the other groups, is because it offered a different tunneling method than its competitors. While the other two groups proposed using the cut-and-cover method, in which the different segments of the tunnel are built on the surface before covering them up and continuing on to the next, MTS proposed the deep-mining method, in which the majority of the tunneling is done underground, without having to disturb life on the surface.

MTS IS owned in equal parts by Israeli construction giant Africa Israel, the German Siemens, Egged, the Chinese civil engineering cooperative CCECC and the Portuguese infrastructure firm Da Costa Soares. All of the companies, aside from owning stock in the project, bring their respective strengths to the table. Along with Dutch rail operator HTM, the five stockholders all joined MTS in its offices in Azrieli and started working toward their goal.

Or is the person charged with overseeing this miniature United Nations. "In a situation like this, you can either get the Tower of Babel or an 'ingathering of the exiles.' We are aiming for the latter because, believe me, connecting Chinese with Portuguese with Germans and Israelis has the potential to be a real catastrophe," said Or, the former director of Derech Eretz, the company that built and operates Highway 6.

My comment regarding Obama injecting self to Gates arrest by white cop

If this is how the current leader is a so called "post racial", a great "uniter"... If there aren't better uniters/post racial spokespeople out there - the USA would probably head towards some sort of a massive riot/civil disorder, if not a racial based civil war.

It is beyond belief that the president of the USA would speak in a manner which would ignite racial divisiveness, as if he were a black panther in the streets attempting to stir a riot.

I guess he had the "Rev. Jeremiah Wright" slip out from his mouth in a national press conference.

Smart people should avoid yelling fire in a crowded theater, for all I know - it is illegal.

Perhaps next time Butthead speaks, he should think, what would Beavis say? (PS, cool similar realism photoshops of cartoons here)

Just my two cents.

Amazingly self contradictory and hypocritical interview with Russia's ambassador to Israel

The following link is to a page in Hebrew, you can click on the auto translate link, but it will surely be awful translation causing much-too-much headache.
Russian Ambassador: Israel is much smaller than it thinks, not a super power, stop mascaraing as an empire, Russia is really a pacifist nation

Auto translated here.

Many "pearls of wisdom" found inside. When asked about murdered Russian journalists he responds:
It's a dangerous profession. Those killed were probably not responsible enough.

About communism, Stalin and the crimes of his former soviet regime:
It's a mistake to compare soviet Russia to Nazism.

After claiming to be a pacifist nation - believing usage of military power is wrong, journalist is asking "Are you joking?! What about Chechnya and Georgia then?", response:
In Chechnya we eventually reached a political solution [yea right, under the boot of military power], and in Georgia's case - they were the aggressor

Shameless.

If you're a white racist and reading this, please fark off my site

It's the internet, it's free for all - so I can't, won't - and generally don't want to disallow any potential readers. I put my content out there for free because it's the kind of content I wish people will read.

That being said, my general speech is intended to counter, point out to - and fight against hatred and racism. Be it racism by blacks, by Arabs, by Muslims, by Jews and by WHITE TRASH. Now - I have not dedicated much content to white trash racism because ever since I moved to the US I have always felt like they were extremely marginal and unimportant. Until this morning.

I just noticed a tiny spike in traffic towards my post about Detroit being a doomed racist cesspool.

I was unfortunate to discover that the source was a hateful site referring to blacks with the N word and generally calling them monkeys. Despicable and hateful. These kind of people are still dangerous no matter how very little of them there are now. The horrible racist site is: www.chimpout.com - no link, I suggest you don't even bother browsing it. It should be blocked from work networks and home networks alike.

Now that this site was introduced to white trash racists - perhaps it's time to remind them that I am not and will never belong to their "tribe". I'm Jewish from Israel. An immigrant to the USA. I don't hate anyone who's not racist and/or wishes violence on other groups and individuals. I support freedom, law and order and the American constitution with ALL of it's amendments.

I support Israel, not for tribal reasons, but because it is an open society based on law and respect for human rights. For it's freedom of religion. For it's equal treatment of Jews, Arabs, Christians and other minorities (even if at some instances the intents fall short). For it's high moral values being implemented while defending from genocidal enemies within and without. There are things wrong with Israel, but they are internal and never do get international attention. For those things that are very-very wrong, I have good reasons to never actually return to my native land. It does make me sad, but I won't share these things on this blog.

I'll finish this post with a reference to a story about an American White Trash Racists who fled from American authorities to Tel-Aviv, found a Jewish girlfriend - who got pregnant and then when she found her boyfriend to be the racist trash that he is - turned him in. Enjoy:
Israel deports American despite his racism denial

Israel extradited a suspect to the United States on firearms charges on Sunday, despite his denial he belonged to the white supremacist Ku Klux Klan.

"No. I'm not. I'm not affiliated with any group whatsoever," a handcuffed Micky Mayon, who was arrested in Tel Aviv last week, told reporters when asked if he was a member of the Klan.

Mayon, a U.S. citizen, was speaking as police escorted him for extradition from Tel Aviv's Ben-Gurion airport. An interior ministry spokeswoman later confirmed he had been deported.

"You know what they accuse me of. But it's not what I did. Absolutely not true," Mayon said, when reporters pressed him on whether he hated Jews and people of African origin.

He said he had enjoyed his stay in Israel --- especially "the Israeli girls" --- and wanted to "come back."

Mayon fled the United States after he was suspected of burning the car of a judge who had ordered he stand trial on the firearms charges.

The Israeli Interior Ministry said on Monday law enforcement units were told by Interpol that Mayon belonged to the Ku Klux Klan, described by the U.S.-based Anti-Defamation League as a racist, anti-Semitic movement.

Mayon was being sought by U.S. marshals on two arrest warrants. Charges included illegal possession of a firearm, reckless endangerment and flight to avoid apprehension.

The ministry said Mayon arrived in Israel as a tourist in January 2008. He was issued a one-month visa and stayed on illegally.

Nation of Shoa perpetrators: Jews shouldn't reside in Jerusalem

Because they stand on such high moral pedestal, they think that deportation and murder of merely 6 million Jews isn't such a big deal. So why not tell Jews not to live in Jerusalem - WHERE THEY LIVED FOR MORE THAN 2000 YEARS?!

Jerusalem, the real Jerusalem, the Jewish Jerusalem, built in stone by Jews, Romans, Greeks, Herod, crusaders, and almost demolished by Islamic occupation - and still was Jewish through out the centuries. That Jerusalem, Euro-trash leaders think they can dictate it to be Juden-Free.

I've got news for the "peacenik" idiot mob out there - Jerusalem is a Jewish consensus. Not just Israeli consensus, whoever portrays himself as Jewish but says Jerusalem (supposedly eastern only, not Jerusalem) - is not Jewish. Not by any measure.

Jerusalem was seized and occupied by Arabs in 1948, during that time they butchered and massacred the Jewish population. They desecrated Jewish graves and hoped to magically erase the uneraseable. Jewish heritage in those mountains is irrefutable.

Obama and his fellow Eurotrash idiot leaders shall pass. Jerusalem shall always be Jewish, even for this non-religious blogger who has left Israel to live in the USA - probably for good.

Europe raises pressure on Israel to stop settlements
Germany, France and EU president Sweden on Tuesday joined Western nations pressing Israel to stop building settlements in East Jerusalem and the West Bank under a U.S.-led effort to resume stalled peace talks.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has resisted international calls to freeze building in occupied territory, seemed to show a sign of flexibility as a newspaper reported a secret plan to remove two dozen unauthorised settler outposts.

Israel has long pledged to dismantle hilltop outposts that it never approved, but has continued building larger settlements in East Jerusalem and the West Bank, land it captured in a 1967 war, and where Palestinians want to build a future state.

Western-backed Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has said he would not resume peace talks with Israel, stalled since Israel elected Netanyahu, a right-wing settler champion in February, unless all settlement construction stopped.

In Berlin, Ruprecht Polenz, a senior member of German Chancellor Angela Merkel's conservative party, was quoted as saying Israel ran the risk "of gradually committing suicide as a democratic state" if it did not stop the construction.

Polenz, head of the German parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee, further told the Rheinische Post daily that "Israel is overlooking the fact that neither Palestinians nor Arab states will agree to a solution without East Jerusalem."

The French Foreign Ministry summoned Israel's ambassador, Daniel Shek, in Paris, to protest against a planned Israeli housing project for East Jerusalem, which Israel considers part of its capital and which Palestinians also seek to make their capital.

Israel annexed East Jerusalem shortly after its capture, in a move never recognised internationally.

THOUSANDS THREATENED WITH DISPLACEMENT

European Union president Sweden urged from Stockholm that Israel refrain from demolishing homes in East Jerusalem where thousands are threatened with displacement.

Jerusalem has emerged as a focal point of the settlement controversy since Israeli officials accused the U.S. State Department on Sunday of telling Israel's ambassador to Washington, Michael Oren, Israel should suspend plans to build about 20 housing units in the city's eastern sector.

The United States has never confirmed it made this demand, but Netanyahu rejected it in televised remarks to his cabinet, a move analysts saw as capitalising on broad popular support in the country for Israel's continued control of the disputed city.

Israel shut a hotel fair in East Jerusalem in the latest of several Palestinian cultural events it has disrupted in recent months saying an interim peace deal permits it to bar the Palestinian government from holding events in the city.

"They want us to leave Jerusalem, but we will not," Rafiq al-Husseini, an aide to Abbas, said. Neither Netanyahu's office nor the Israeli army would comment on a report in the respected Haaretz daily that the military was preparing to "forcibly evacuate 23 illegal outposts in one day," in a plan drawn up with Netanyahu's knowledge.

The same Haaretz columnist disclosed plans to remove troops and Jewish settlers from the Gaza Strip before that pullout occurred in 2005.

Separately, a report by the Macro Center of the Israeli European Policy Network said settlements were receiving a larger share of government funding than municipalities inside Israel, and the settler population was also growing three times as fast.

"While Israeli municipalities as a whole receive 34.7 percent of their income from (the government) and obtain another 64.3 percent from their own income, settlement municipalities obtain 57 percent from the (government) and only 42.8 percent from their own income," the report said.

The international community isn't interested in peace. They are interested in uprooting Jews from land they held since biblical times, and only were temporary uprooted from by force in 1948 - for 17 painful years.

I don't care?! You don't care?! I'm Going to LOSE MY MIND?!!!!! awesome Glenn Beck edited audio

There's a background story behind this on Hotair, but seriously, taken without context - this is just hilarious. I seem to like Beck better every day.

Yes, it's last week's news. But I had to mention it.

As fun as it was being "temporary", 8 years later - we are "permentant"

Just a tiny update. Our family moved to the USA in 2001. We've been here legally but "temporary" as far as immigration is concerned. Well, 8 years later - after many many many legal efforts and costs (to my employer) - we got the coveted card. We are permanent, which for us means - we are more free with our travel arrangements and employment opportunities. Finally.

On our way to this:

Hopefully sooner than the age of the people depicted in that image...

I know you'll miss me - introducing Shakshuka

I'll be signing off for a bit more than a week for travel.

For now, here's a nice picture of "Shakshuka":

Found on the following Hebrew discussion board: fresh.co.il: Shakshuka recipe with pictures

Here's a nice article on the Boston Globe about one of my favorite Tel Aviv spots, Dr. Shakshuka.

Shakshuka a Tel Aviv mainstay
Spend just a day here and it’s hard not to feel politics - even history itself - swirling around your head. Everyone has a solution, an opinion, and of course, a recipe. In no time at all, you too have one. And likely many. Naturally this extends to shakshuka.

No, we’re not talking about the latest Tel Aviv teen pop star. Shakshuka, instead, just might score tops in an Israeli food election - if there were such a thing and were hummus disqualified due to term limits. The principal ingredients are basic: tomatoes, red bell peppers, and eggs. This being Israel, all cooks have lists of quirky add-ons and techniques. In its simplest form, the tomato and pepper are sauteed, after which eggs are cracked over the top and allowed to poach in the heat of the vegetables.

It’s hard to believe that more enterprising American breakfast menus don’t feature shakshuka (or for lunch or dinner, for that matter). Ana Sortun’s nearly year-old spot, Sofra Bakery and Cafe, in Cambridge, turns out a very tasty version, so possibly it’s poised to pop here.

A similar stew of vegetables and minced meat shakshuka or “goatee’’ dates to the Ottoman Empire. The egg version surfaced later all over North Africa and Spain before the expulsion of the Sephardic Jews.

“The egg is used like a piece of meat as a rich part of the meal,’’ says Sortun. Her take on shakshuka is spun less from a specific place than a questing palate. Interestingly, she dials up the flavor of her sauce with hawaj, a Yeminite mixture that includes tumeric, cumin, and coriander sourced from an Israeli spice merchant in New York and tops it with brilliant green zhoug, a spicy condiment made of peppers and sherry vinegar.

The dish is made in some form all around the Mediterranean. The Basque piperade, for example, begins with a similar saucy tomato mixture, but instead of poaching the eggs on top, they’re scrambled into the simmering sauce. The Turkish menemen includes the same ingredients baked into a thick omelet.

Properly turned out, shakshuka hits sweet, fiery, and filling notes all at once. Considering its heritage, it’s not surprising that the best known venue for shakshuka in Tel Aviv is operated by a native of Tripoli. The owner, Bino Gabso, would appear to know what he’s talking about. The restaurant is called Dr. Shakshuka and sits amid the bustle of Jaffa, the ancient port city out of which Tel Aviv grew. It’s a place that’s on every Israeli’s gastro-radar.

Dr. Shakshuka projects a highly atmospheric gestalt. Hundreds of braziers dangle from the ceiling and the lighting is low, romantic, possibly enigmatic. When the kitchen is humming, six burners are devoted to producing shakshuka. Flames jet up around the sides of the saute pans and a cook dances amid the heat, fire, and bubbling skillets, looking a little like a xylophonist relegated to hell. That is, until he gets his shift meal.

Though the restaurant’s idea of spices may strike an adventuresome palate as somewhat tame, one can still come away with an excellent trick, courtesy of the open-air kitchen. After cracking each egg on top of the tomato and pepper saute with a single hand, the agile, heat-blasted cook tips the pan forward, back, and sideways, allowing the egg white to fold into the vegetables. Instead of one ingredient piled atop another, the two are made to quietly and deliciously meld.

Poll the average Israeli and it’s not difficult to find an opinion - many opinions, in fact - about the best way to cook shakshuka. It’s just that each of these opinions (and recipes) is different. At the same time, however, it’s easy - shockingly easy - to gather consensus on one thing. Everyone here loves shakshuka.

Meet your new neighbors: Iraqi-Palestinian "refugees"

Because resettling people from Somalia worked so great.

US to resettle 1,350 Iraqi-Palestinian refugees
The US State Department confirmed Tuesday that as many as 1,350 Iraqi Palestinians - once well-treated guests of Saddam Hussein and now estranged from Iraqi society - will be resettled in the US, mostly in southern California, starting this fall, the Christian Science Monitor reported.

It will be the largest-ever resettlement of Palestinian refugees into the US - and welcome news to the Palestinians who fled to Iraq after 1948, but who have had a tough time since Hussein was ousted in 2003. Targeted by Iraqi Shi'ites, the Palestinians, mostly Sunni Muslims, have spent recent years in one of the region's roughest refugee camps, Al Waleed, near Iraq's border with Syria in the west.

"Really for the first time, the United States is recognizing a Palestinian refugee population that could be admitted to the US as part of a resettlement program," Bill Frelick, refugee policy director at Human Rights Watch in Washington told CSM.

Considering that the US in the past was reluctant to resettle Palestinians - only seven were accepted in 2007 and only nine in 2008 - the effort could become a point of contention between Israel and the US.

For many in the State Department and international community, the resettlement is part of a moral imperative the US has to clean up the refugee crisis created by invading Iraq. The US has already stepped up resettlement of Iraqis, some whom have struggled to adjust to life in America.

The resettlement of Iraqi Palestinians is "an important gesture for the United States to demonstrate that we're not heartless," Alon Ben-Meir, a professor of international relations and Middle Eastern studies at New York University told the publication.

Alon Ben Meir?! (sounds like a very Israeli name to me) I feel a bit disoriented now. "Middle East Studies" - I hope we're not talking about yet another Saudi sponsored antisemitism and revisionism department.

Here's the best quote from the article:
But some critics say the State Department is sloughing off its problems onto American cities, especially since in this case the Palestinians were sympathizers of the Iraqi tyrant.

"This is politically a real hot potato," said Mark Krikorian, director of the conservative Center for Immigration Studies in Washington, adding, "America has become a dumping ground for the State Department's problems - they're tossing their problems over their head into Harrisburg, Pa., or Omaha, Neb."

I just hope the end result will be more assimilated pro American citizens who do not practice nor preach hatred. I can't find many reasons to be an optimist here.

Even the filthy jihadis don't want them - should the USA? They were thrown out of Iraq not for being innocent refugees, rather for being Saddam's hated pet project. Arabs should start welcoming people who were refugees 60 years ago, in Arab countries. Why didn't Saudi Arabia welcome them?

Those of us who struggled to immigrate legally to the US, not through undeserved refugee stature aren't wishing for as bad as neighbors as we could get in East Jerusalem. Pardon my lack of enthusiasm.

Alan Dershowitz: "American Jews should support Obama to encourage bipartisan support of Israel", Huh?!

The esteemed Alan Dershowitz, a Harvard professor, goes into verbal acrobatics to excuse his blind support of Obama:
I believed, and continue to believe, that a young, extremely popular African American President who supports Israel, even if he disagrees with its policies regarding settlement expansion, would be far more influential with mainstream Americans and with people throughout the world than an old conservative republican, who also supported Israel. That is why I gave, and continued to give, President Barack Obama the benefit of the doubt in his dealings with Israel
It's not very rational to block doubt out - there are enough recent actions to raise such doubts.

Also:
Phillips, for all her good work in Great Britain on behalf of Israel, has absolutely no understanding of American politics. She would turn Israel into a wedge issue, in which Republicans were seen as the supporters of Israel and Democrats as its enemy.
It's not Melanny which caused Israel to become a wedge issue or cause Democrats to appear anti-Israel. It is leftism which has done so. Don't blame the messenger.

Don't miss out:
The major difference between Melanie Phillips and me is that I want Jews to remain Democrats - if they support, as I do, liberal principles such as a women's right to choose abortion, the rights of gays and lesbians to equal justice, and other progressive policies. I also strongly support the separation of church and state, a constitutional principle that has allowed American Jews to be first class citizens and to reach greater heights in this wonderful country than they ever have achieved in Europe or anywhere else in the world except for Israel. Republicans, in general, seek to lower the wall of separation which would endanger the status of Jews in this country.
Republicans would endanger the status of Jews in this country?! Surely he has gone off the rails with that one.

Read it all: Dershowitz: US support for Israel must remain bipartisan

Well, after reading it all - does he make much sense? If more Americans Jews vote to Republicans, would that make Israel a "wedge issue" and define the Democrat party as anti-Israel? Does the fact that Jews do support Democrats blindly make Israel any less of a "wedge issue"?

Sure - we'd like a bipartisan support for Israel in America. Could Dershowitz's belief in his own words cause him not to see what Obama is doing?

How about supporting someone who speaks and acts the same - not according to the crowds in front of him. According to the crowds Obama wishes to appease at the moment. One should not just follow as in a herd of sheep simply because "old white republicans would be hated by the young". Is this how you'd maintain "bipartisan support for Israel" in America? It just sounds like an extremely dishonest approach to lay out your political preferences by.

Dershowitz's support of Obama is for progressive reasons as he proudly proclaims in the post. The acrobatic verbal attempts to justify support for someone who is blatantly anti-Israel by saying that if he wouldn't support then the young and Democrats would abandon Israel is just too revealing as to who Obama and the far left people are.

Should American Jews be told who to vote for by outsiders? Absolutely not. Should you ignore doubts?! That's just intellectually dishonest. Many have realized Obama to have lied regarding support of Israel, choosing to ignore it in the name of maintaining artificial "bipartisan support" is a way to mascaraed what has become overt hostility by Obama and Hillary Clinton.

Dershowitz doesn't even raise the notion of ever not supporting Obama or Democrats. Simply that if he eventually does realize that the hostility exists, he will use his influence to counter it.

Perhaps Dershowitz's biggest blind spot is in not recognizing that putting demands to Israel and only to Israel - as a precondition to negotiating peace with those who have not for once forsaken their aspiration to eliminate Israel - is not a push for peace, rather a push to isolate and punish Israel. But hey... as long as the rights of lesbians are celebrated and abortions are provided...

Spit like rain

I found myself herded against a brick wall as they kept on spitting - on my face, my hair, my clothes, my arms.

It was like rain, coming at me from all directions - hitting my recorder, my bag, my shoes, even my glasses.

Big gobs of spit landed on me like heavy raindrops. I could even smell it as it fell on my face.

Somewhere behind me - I didn't see him - a man on a stairway either kicked me in the head or knocked something heavy against me.

Doesn't it feel like Palin supporters want her to run for office more than she does?

Being harassed and viciously attacked on a daily basis, driven to financial ruins by zealots from opposite party, and having your family simply brutalized by the nation without a peep of condemnation by 80% of media could drive anyone to give up on public life. Whom in history has ever been treated this way?

Our media treats mass murderer nicer.

Two relevant news bits, Zigler - who apparently is very close to Palin rips the Media appart for treatment and - explains her stance with vigor:

If video doesn't open/play - click here

And then, Palin today said: If I die politically, so be it

She doesn't owe the hate leaning media a thing - neither the nation. This hope'n'change nation with its recent communism infatuation doesn't deserve honest people.

It deserves the trash it has praised and raised to power.

It deserves the prominent blogs who influence the DNC party while making "retard" jokes at expense of people who have done them nothing wrong. At expense of innocent children. This is not simply "childish",

The state of the nation :

DEPRAVED!

Deal with it America. You make the Shawarma Family very sad these days.

Obama to save the "overdrafting poor", by putting an end to Free Checking Accounts?!

Redistribution in action.

Just scare tactics from the Banks?
Is free checking on its way out?
Bank customers used to the perks of free checking accounts — unlimited check writing, online banking, debit card use and ATM access, to name a few — might have to recalibrate their expectations soon. That’s because overdraft fees, which banks use to subsidize the expense of free checking accounts, have been under fire by consumer advocacy groups. (A quick primer: You spend $8 on lunch at Burger King and pay with your debit card. But there’s only $5 in your checking account. The transaction is still approved, but the bank slaps you with a hefty overdraft fee for the privilege.)

There have already been some changes to the way banks must disclose overdraft fees on statements, but now there’s a bigger push to require institutions to obtain accountholders’ permission before charging them overdraft fees on debit card purchases and ATM withdrawals. President Obama’s proposed Consumer Financial Protection Agency would likely address overdraft fees in some way.

That spells trouble for banks already hurting from the financial crisis. The bulk of revenue in bank retail deposits comes from penalty fees; economic research firm Moebs Services estimates that banks will rake in a total of $38.5 billion in overdraft revenue this year. In fact, a 2008 FDIC study concludes that 74% of all service charges on deposit accounts come from overdraft and insufficient fund fees, which typically range between $35 to $40 per incident. But there’s a small amount of consumers who shoulder most of the fee load: According to a May report from consulting firm Oliver Wyman, 68% of those fees come from just 5% of banking customers (who pay, on average, $1,614 each year). Meanwhile, 74% of customers pay no overdraft fees at all.

But with banks expecting roadblacks to fee income, some experts predict that the free-checking model might be on its way out. Aaron Fine, author of the Oliver Wyman report, recently told banking industry trade publication American Banker, “The industry has to change pretty dramatically because a substantial amount of the revenue that paid for free checking is likely to go away. That business model is not sustainable.”

Will we have an overdraft czar too?

PS. Who's the idiot that came up with that extremely negative word to describe a bureaucrat? If it was a person from the Obama opponents side - that's actually brilliant. They can go further down that line to describe federally appointed pencil pushers who tell citizens how to live their life:

Gestapo, Fuhrer, Pol Pot, Ra'is, Caesar, Executioner, Ayatola, Mullah, Wazir, Jihadi.

As in - the stimulus jihadi will make sure to eliminate all opposition. The car gestapo will increase car sales by taking care of union interests before practical business matters. The banks Fuhrer will create a bankers final solution. The community organizing ayatollah is well liked by the masses....

Or, you could simplify and use the meaning of the word in sentences:
The oppressive dictator of the economy says that despite 9.6% unemployment - hope and change is lifting everybody's spirit.

Sarah Palin Quits!!! Leaving everyone guessing as to why, my attempts

Goodbye, fair lady.

AP reports:
Palin resigning as Alaska governor
WASILLA, Alaska – Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin said Friday she is resigning from office at the end of the month, raising speculation that she would focus on a run for the White House in the 2012 race.

The former Republican vice presidential candidate made the surprise announcement from her home in suburban Wasilla on Friday morning. She said she would step down July 26 but didn't announce her plans.

"Once I decided not to run for re-election, I also felt that to embrace the conventional Lame Duck status in this particular climate would just be another dose of politics as usual, something I campaigned against and will always oppose," Palin said in a statement released by her office.

"It is my duty to always protect our great state. With that in mind, my family and I determined that it is best to make a difference this summer, and I am willing to change things, so that this administration, with its positive agenda, its accomplishments, and its successful road to an incredible future, can continue without interruption and with great administrative and legislative success," she said.
What a load of crap?! Who does such a thing? Notice all the crooks who cling to their chairs and you can't make them go?! Her decision is beyond odd, it's incomprehensible. Lefties are seen partying, and I think with good reasons.

Here are my guesses as to why she's quitting:
  • She had enough of national intrusions and damage to her family. They can make it financially without putting themselves out there for all the lefty loon to try their best and tarnish.
  • She might think this kind of move could advance her political career, but I stick to point 1, I think she wants that career over.
  • There's some internal family drama that is just non of anyone's business... but the press will make sure we find out about it - vindictive ass holes as they are.
  • Could it be that Letterman's jokes were the straw that broke the camel's back here?
  • She was disappointed at the direct financial damage lefties in Alaska caused her with false accusations and lack of fiscal backing from GOP - could this be what has broke her?
  • She noticed Alaska might be following the rest of the nation economically and didn't want to be associated with the upcoming national disaster? Willing only to rise again 10-15 years from now? (fat chance - this move is a deal breaker, end of political career. period!)
  • Latest criticism from noticeable republican pundits finally broken her spirit. It sunk in that there might not be any reason to carry on.
It's a shame. So long governor Palin.

Happy 4th - tomorrow.

Today, I'll be eating some hot dogs and watching fire works at our nearby park.

Happy Birthday America

University of Michigan nut jobs new low: Accuse Disney of promoting "Heteronormativity"

It's not just tolerance that should be tought. These raving lunatics have decided labeling someone a Homophobe isn't enough - they've gone a step forward to define a new thought crime "Heteronormativity". It is apparently abnormal for girls and boys to be interested in one other.

This is how society dies. H/T to Moonbattery.

Team of Researchers Blames Children's Films for Perpetuating "Heteronormativity"
ANN ARBOR, Michigan, June 24, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Researchers at the University of Michigan have concluded that the love stories told in classic Disney and other G-rated children's films - such as the Little Mermaid - are partially to blame for the pervasiveness of what they label "heteronormativity."

"Despite the assumption that children's media are free of sexual content, our analyses suggest that these media depict a rich and pervasive heterosexual landscape," wrote researchers Emily Kazyak and Karin Martin, in a report published in the latest issue of the Sociologists for Women in Society (SWS) publication Gender & Society.

Kazyak and Martin said they studied the role of heterosexual relationships in several of the highest-grossing G-rated films between 1990-2005.

The results, say the researchers, illustrate two ways that the children's films "construct heterosexuality": through "depictions of hetero-romantic love as exceptional, powerful, transformative, and magical," and "depictions of interactions between gendered bodies in which the sexiness of feminine characters is subjected to the gaze of masculine characters."

"Characters in love are surrounded by music, flowers, candles, magic, fire, balloons, fancy dresses, dim lights, dancing and elaborate dinners," the researchers observed. "Fireflies, butterflies, sunsets, wind and the beauty and power of nature often provide the setting for - and a link to the naturalness of - hetero-romantic love."

The SWS press release on the research blamed what they called the "old ideals" of romantic relationships, specifically those found the Brothers Grimm fairy tales, which in many instances inspired the films' storylines, for "such heavily gendered depictions and glorified portrayals of heterosexual relationships."

The team says the results point to heterosexuality achieving a "taken-for-granted status" "because hetero-romance is depicted as powerful."

"Both ordinary and exceptional constructions of heterosexuality work to normalize its status because it becomes difficult to imagine anything other than this form of social relationship or anyone outside of these bonds," they concluded.

"These films provide powerful portraits of a multifaceted and pervasive heterosexuality that likely facilitates the reproduction of heteronormativity."

Heterosexuality?! That's abnormal!!!

You think this report made you sick thus far? Wait - there's more:

The SWS press release concluded: "President Obama may have declared June to be Gay Pride Month, but entertainment for children therefore continues to perpetuate a less inclusive message, leaving those outside its confines with little to build their own dreams of happily ever after."

Sexuality expert Dr. Judith Reisman told LifeSiteNews.com (LSN) yesterday that the "politically correct" study reveals "the growing dominance of Heterophobia within academia and the spread of heterophobes among female professionals."

"Now, if the Ladies of the Sociology Society think pornography is becoming the heteronorm and that Disney is contributing to that form of what is really Heterophobia, they might have an argument," Reisman noted.

"However, the Ladies of the Sociology Society appear to favor Homoerotic child propaganda, as the current academic party line dictates."

Well I didn't know June was gay pride month. I think they share it with the martians pride month, south Bronx heritage month and Bangalorian American month.

Hetrophobia is truly pervasive in Academia. That's just sickening.

Patriotic Music Band Worth Mentioning: 3 Doors Down

I truly recommend the live album "Another 700 Miles" by 3 Doors Down, if only for the following intro to a song they issued during the show in 2003:

When I'm Gone Intro [Live]

PS. Noticed GEICO is using their songs in the "cave man" commercial?

Oddball email of the morning

I won't email this guy back directly even though I have a return email:

From "Sam ?" (question mark in the emailer name)
Subject: "Terror"

"My major outrage was at the lack of attention victims of terror get." I agree. Thousands of Palestinians have received little or no attention after becoming victims of Israeli terrorism. Hard to believe.

"No - witnessing hundreds of people running, crying and screaming at 12am in the streets of Tel-Aviv after the bombing of the disco on the beach is not as bad as seeing the bodies." Again, I agree. The Palestinian people know exactly what you are talking about. They most recently experienced it in Gaza and it was the Israeli army targetting civilians and civilian infrastructure. I am not a supporter of striking Israeli civilian centers. However, you do have to admit that the Palestinians do have a right to attack Israeli army soldiers who knowingly take part in the illegal occupation of Palestine as well as armed fanatical settler terrorists.

Sam

As to first point: I guess the hundreds of CNN hours and UN focus on Gaza, Al-Jazeera, Al Manar, Al Arabia and every possible far lefty organization in Europe don't count as attention any more. Your ability to paint the residents of Gaza as blameless victims is amazing. Do you really suppose I don't know why the Israeli army invaded Gaza? Live and let live - bombarding Israeli civilians on a daily basis has consequences - now try and remember that next time you pull out your fake violin.

Unlike you I don't focus on this side has suffered and that one hasn't. I just don't see anyone on the Palestinian side recognizing the suffering of Jews, and I keep hearing justification to the horrors Palestinians inflict - which leads me to your second point:

"Admit Palestinains have a right to attack...", no - you idiot. To attack is an act of war - and any such act has consequence. You attack - you get hit back, and your attempt to claim to be a victim when you attack is ludicrous and backwards.

Your attempt to paint any civilian as "fanatically armed terrorist" is the root of your problem. You are a racist. If no one is attacking you, or shooting you at will - not to mention lives across a border from you - you have no such right unless you are an animal looking for prey.

The fact that someone is armed does not make him legitimate for murder. There are armed Palestinian forces - IDF do not shoot at them at will. There are even armed Hamas forces and unless they are engaged in attacking Israel - they are mainly observed.

Can someone really be this delusional in his observation of Gaza?! In his reversal of facts on the very recent of history?! Gaza was left for Arabs. Gaza was given money and plantations. Gazans turned it into a terror base. The real terror the residents of Gaza endure is the daily clamp down by the oppressive Iranian regime which took over Gaza under the Hamas flag. Then Sam's beloved murderers from the Hamas built a fortress shielded by civilians to launch attacks from.

Failure to recognize these facts is plainly dishonest.

Now to my main point: Palestinains have butchered kids at a disco. Not during a battle. Not in retaliation to being shelled with rockets. They sent a Muslim strapping an explosive on his chest and murdered in cold blood. The damage they inflicted was upon any occasional observer. "Sam" equates that with an army operation in direct response to armed operations. The Israeli operation was against armed people attacking them. Every minute of every day of that operation Israeli forces were fired on.

How the hell can one equate a struggle between two armed sides with defenseless kids at a disco with a straight face?!

Israel set out to fight armed militia. - Palestinains set out to murder non Arabs.

That's the real equation. "Sam ?"'s blind hatred cannot let him comprehend that.

The Palestinians are the victims of their own doing. From 1948 to today. They are not being hunted and murdered at will, while this is how they treat Jews. Israel does not do that. They continue to refuse to many creative peaceful solutions and insist on deportation of Jews and reversal of historical facts. This will not happen.
