3 hurt in second IAF strike on Gaza in 24 hours, Palestinians say
Gaza eyewitnesses say vehicle hit by one missile launched from Israeli aircraft; strike comes hours after IAF hit Hamas targets in the coastal enclave.
Israeli aircraft struck a car traveling south of Gaza City late Thursday afternoon, wounding three people, Palestinian medical officials and witnesses said.
According to Palestinian witnesses, the Golf car was hit by one missile. Medical officials confirmed the three people injured in the strike were taken to a hospital in the centre of the Gaza Strip.
The report was not confirmed by the Israel Defense Forces.
The reported strike came hours after Israeli aircraft hit targets belonging to Hamas in an overnight raid on the enclave.
The Israeli raids were in retaliation for rocket attacks that had been launched from the salient on southern Israel, causing no injuries.
According to the Israeli military spokesman's office, a total of 165 rockets and mortars have been launched from the Gaza Strip at Israel so far this year.
Meanwhile in Israel, current big headline is a claim by Hamas-holes to have uncovered a mole who was later rescued by Israeli tank. How is the enemy's propaganda a major news item? Media keeps digging in open wound of abducted soldier Gilad Shalit.
