USSR in the USA, Yon arrested for refusing intrusive unconstitutional interrogation at airport

I'm still very disconnected from news, as my office's internet is blocked - and I don't spend as much time online at home (TV couch potato - that's me).

With that, and before I leave to Las Vegas - I'll post a last post for about another two weeks.

America - how the mighty have fallen. You're a Muslim whose father calls you a terrorist, buy a one way ticket, no luggage? Come aboard! No questions asked - what smoking gun?! We're smoking weed here at the government.

On the other hand, if you're a military reporter/blogger who doesn't answer intrusive and unconstitutional questions by a nobody with a badge at the airport - handcuffs and detention for you. (but don't call it arrest)

Milblogger Michael Yon Handcuffed at Seattle Airport
Milblogger and author Michael Yon was handcuffed today at the Seattle airport for not telling the TSA agent his net income.
He posted this on his facebook page:

Got arrested at the Seattle airport for refusing to say how much money I make. (The uniformed ones say I was not “arrested”, but they definitely handcuffed me.) Their videos and audios should show that I was polite, but simply refused questions that had nothing to do with national security. Port authority police eve…ntually came — they were professionals — and rescued me from the border bullies.

And, here’s his follow-up post:

When they handcuffed me, I said that no country has ever treated me so badly. Not China. Not Vietnam. Not Afghanistan. Definitely not Singapore or India or Nepal or Germany, not Brunei, not Indonesia, or Malaysia, or Kuwait or Qatar or United Arab Emirates. No county has treated me with the disrespect can that can be expected from our border bullies.

What The Fark?!
