Surprise, a pro Hamas, asshole. AKA Hamashole.

Britainistan Rising: Israeli deputy ambassador attacked at Manchester U, intifada style

Britain - what a shit hole. To britz, Enjoy your new caliphate you spineless anti-semite dhimmis. I have yet to find sane voices in Britain that oppose Islamization and are not part of the kooky nazi far right. Jews there are surrounded by anti-semites from left and anti-semites from the right. This translates to UK's foreign policy, boycotts, violence and attempts to incarcerate Israeli politicians.

British protesters attack Israel's deputy ambassador
Pro-Palestinian protesters storm towards Talya Lador-Fresher after her speech at Manchester University, prompting police to whisk her away from site. Protesters proceed to encircle police car, climb on hood. Ambassador Ron Prosor says sweeping denunciation expected

A lecture given by Israel's Deputy Ambassador to Britain Talya Lador-Fresher at the University of Manchester deteriorated Wednesday into violence when pro-Palestinian protesters stormed at the diplomat in an attempted attack.

The protesters were waiting for Lador-Fresher outside the lecture hall, but this did not deter her from entering as planned. Immediately upon her exit, the protesters lunged at the diplomat, prompting security guards to whisk her back into the hall. Following a consultation on the site, it was decided to escort her out of the premises in a police car.

Did you know getting stuck in airport due to Icelandic volcano is Allah's punishment? just ask Hamas

The magical book of Quran keeps finding excuses for every possible natural disaster. Of course, IMHO - there's only one natural disaster I can associate with Allah and the Quran - its murderous crowds of angry followers.

Canada's Free Press describes the video as such:
A Palestinian cleric preaching on Hamas TV said the volcano in Iceland and the volcanic ash that paralyzed European air travel were sent by Allah to punish “Infidels and polytheists with fear and terror.”

Obama trying to silence Israeli critics, complaining about J'Lem Mayor comments

And why wouldn't the mayor of Jerusalem comment his disapproval of outside pressure to halt construction in his city?

What atmosphere is Obama trying to create coming into negotiation? One where Israelis are pressured, forced, and then silenced? I've got news for the loony lefties out there - Israelis know and understand exactly what's happening - trying to silence them is counter productive. Of course, people have been trying to tell Obama that his actions with regards to Israel are counter productive - they just keep hitting the same wall of hostility there.

Comedy Central is fucked up

It's cool and ok to use crass language against Palin, her daughter, her special needs son, every Republican, everyone who appears on fox news. It's OK to make fun of Holocaust, and air anti-semitic 'jokes' by self loathing Jews. Everything goes as long as it's from a far-kooky lefty liberal point of view. Because it's 'funny'.

Well fuck you guys. Seriously! Censoring 35 seconds worth of conversation?! Move your fucking channel to fucken Saudi Arabia where it belongs. Go wear a fucken burka and hide in a fucking cave you coward asshole morons!

There - I said it.

I'll let allahpundit explain why I'm so fucken pissed off.

I posted earlier this morning - I just had no idea how horribly things have gone.

Previously I posted: Southpark presents: The new face of Mohamed

And I was never shy of expressing my opinions of the rapist pedophile who took Aisha.

The stench of 'Peace Process': Gaza gov't vows to abduct more Jews, execute suspected spies

In Gaza: Hamas leader vows to capture more Israeli soldiers

Also in Sharia Heaven aka Gazastan aka Hamastan: Hamas vows to keep executing 'collaborators' in Gaza

And the PA in Ramallah names streets and squares after murderers, mass murderers, and simply 'Jihad'. But don't worry, NYT says we just don't understand the narrative. You say 'potato', I say 'pot-a-to', he says 'death to Jews' and means it. How bigoted of us to misunderstand the narrative. Of course, trying to excuse glorification of murderers by fabrication and lies regarding Menahem Begin is just accepted as a 'he said, she said' by the reporter. Feel the stench of the peace process in the air. It's all relativism.

Of course, those who lack knowledge or are willing to ignore reality in the name of even handedness will surely usher a new era of trust. Just as soon as I'll start farting gold.

Obviously the solution to all the problems in the middle east is to halt construction in Ramot Shlomo - Jerusalem...

O'Reilly on Southpark-Muhammad: Maybe I'm a coward, but I wouldn't let Muhammad satire on the factor

Nope, but he would give CAIR the stage. Again and again and again.

Watch the entire interview or starting minute 4:20.

Do people realize that the episode 'the 200' is a satire against censorship and cowardice - not about 'mocking the prophet'?

PS. I haven't watched the 201 episode, and for some odd reason it seems Viacom is preventing Matt and Trey from posting it online. The plot thickens?!

Obama and Bibi friends? Strike on Iran was never off table?

Just another stream of point, counter point. Someone is feeding misinformation, beats me why. Or is it that there very polar opinions within the admin feeding contradicting news bits and statements?

* Rahm Emanuel says in interview on Bloomberg that Bibi and Obama are friends with deep commitment to their own nations interests. (I saw the video, on Charlie Rose). Same article different site: State Dept. Summons Syria Envoy on Arms Transfers

* Top U.S. official: Military strike on Iran was never 'off the table'

* Palestinians losing faith in Obama administration, poll finds

* Senior Obama administration official says time is not ripe for US peace plan

Then again - does Martin Indyk speak for Obama admin or not?

Is the USA extorting Israel with potential Iranian nuclear holocaust?

Is the USA extorting Israel with potential Iranian nuclear holocaust?

So Indik goes on the attack against Israel, proclaiming nuclear extortion from Israel - if Israel doesn't stop building in Jerusalem - they are alone against Iran.

A top US official says military option against Iran is off the table.

Gee - I wonder why Israelis hate Obama - must be his race. All those Ethiopian Jews must hate Obama because he's Kenyan.

Chris Mathews, I have nothing witty to say about this man-sperm gobbler. I hate him because he's white? Nope - I can't hate mentally disabled person for expressing his lack of brains.

Israel celebrates 62nd anniversary

My kids had the joy to participate in the local celebrations here in Kiryat Haim for the first time. (tiny place, tiny budget celebration...)

Today we had a great family BBQ, lots of meat - won't carry any of it on the plane though...

Israel celebrates 62nd anniversary
Israel's 62nd Independence Day celebrations commenced Monday evening with the traditional torch-lighting ceremony at Mount Herzl in Jerusalem. The theme of this year's ceremony was Theodor (Binyamin Ze'ev) Herzl's adage, "If you will it, it is no dream" – and it honored the State's achievements on the 150th birthday of its visionary.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a special statement for the occasion, saying, "On this Independence Day we mark two of the Jewish nation's miracles: The miracle of revival and the miracle of building. The miracle of revival, because I an not familiar with any other nation in history that was scattered all over the world and lost control of its destiny but still managed to return to its homeland and rebuild its sovereignty there.

"The other miracle is building: What we have built in this land since the State of Israel's inception. Israel is quickly becoming a regional economic superpower and a global technological superpower. In this world of knowledge in the 21st century our possibilities are endless: In science, medicine, technology and art. In each and every field, the forces of genius within our nation break out and create a magnificent country," the PM's statement read.

Israel's response to Turkish hostility: refusal to sell advanced weaponry

Only makes sense considering Turkey canceled joint military ventures. If the Turks wish to join the Jiahdi brothers in the Islamic world and bring their semi-western country to the same standard as the Arab world - they are welcome to self destruct without Israeli assistance.

Israel Rejects Turkish Request to Buy Arms
srael has declined a request by Turkey to purchase several different military systems, including an anti-tank guided weapon and a missile system for its navy.

The request by the Turkish government was rejected by Israel's SIBAT, the defense assistance and export organization, which is currently reviewing each order on a case-by-case basis.

Turkey said it wanted to buy the Spike non-line-of-site (NLOS) anti-tank guided weapon, the Namer heavy infantry fighting vehicle, and the Israel Aerospace Industries' (IAI) Barak 8 theater-defense missile system for its navy, according to UK-based Jane's Defence Weekly.

Israel did, however, deliver the last of 170 upgraded M60A1 main battle tanks (MBTs) to the Turkish military on April 7 through a joint contract between Israel Military Industries (IMI) and Turkey's Aselsan, shepherded along by Columbia.

The move is seen as a response to Turkey's increasing anti-Israel rhetoric and the pro-Islamic leanings in its foreign and domestic policies.

An Israeli defense official was quoted by the military publication as saying, “Ties with Turkey will never be the way they once were. We are being very careful which systems we sell them, due to the growing Islamic trends in the country.”

Turkish Prime Minister Tayyip Recep Erdogan harshly criticized Israel during and following its counter terrorism Operation Cast Lead in Gaza, which ran from December 28, 2008 to January 20, 2009.

Since that time, relations between the two countries have steadily deteriorated, a trend reflected in Turkey's decision in October 2009 to bar Israel's Air Force from participating in the joint Anatolian Eagle exercises. Turkey ultimately chose to cancel the drill rather than back down in response to pressure from the United States and Italy, who were also set to participate.

As a result, Israel has also been searching for new air space in which to conduct long-range training exercises, since Turkey has refused the IAF use of its air space. Recently the Defense Ministry has been exploring the possibility of renewing a 2006 agreement to deploy IAF fighter jets in Romania.

The ugly accidental Israelis

No, not Arabs, but rather - Haredi-Anti-Zionists. Those ass holes rioted and burned flags in Jerusalem while most Jews were weeping for their fallen. Defeinitely not the focus of this blog, but being that I'm still in Israel - and hope to have my flight back not delayed - it's one of those things you cannot ignore.

Haredim protest Remembrance Day

Haredi men protested the State of Israel in Jerusalem on Monday, shortly before the Remembrance Day siren.

The haredim burned trash cans, threw rocks at passing cars, tore Israeli flags and tried to block Shivtei Yisrael street.

The men fled the scene when police arrived. Municipality workers were called to put out the fires and re-open the street.

Soon after the siren, a 14-year-old boy was arrested for burning an Israeli flag, near the Shabbat Square in Mea Shearim.

Wishing everyone Yom Atzmaut Sameah this evening, and a great Mangal day tomorrow (BBQ).

Maariv officially neglects all journalistic principles, such as fact checking

Don't expect bloggers to do the job for the actual real newspapers, please!

Correction: Ma'ariv story on nuclear scientists wrong
Pajamas Media:

On April 8, 2010, I wrote an article in this space implying that the Obama administration had instituted a new policy restricting entry to the United States for Israeli nuclear scientists who worked at the Dimona reactor. I based my article on a report from the Israeli website/newspaper Maariv, which quoted the nuclear engineering professor Zeev Alfassi as its primary source.

This morning (Pacific time) I was able to reach Dr. Alfassi in his office at Ben Gurion University in the Negev. Apparently, my report — and the newspaper’s — was inaccurate. The professor informed me that while it was extremely difficult for scientists who worked at Dimona to obtain U.S. visas, this was not a new policy of the Obama administration. This problem has been going on since 9/11.

Alfassi explained that formerly he and other scientists were able to go through travel agents to obtain visas to the U.S. Now they have to go personally to the U.S. embassy in Tel Aviv. He knows of at least one case of a scientist who was not able to attend a conference in this country because of this system. European scientists, he said, did not have this problem.

The truth, it's a phone call away - and those who get paid to report should try that technology...

Jerusalem with the family - getting stuck with the car...

Photos will eventually follow. I was at Jerusalem yesterday and was:
A. lost, because the printed map instructions lead us to Ma'ale Edumim
B. stuck, the car died in traffic jams in the streets going uphill and downhill

Fun stuff. Eventually I picked a hotel room unexpectedly and walked the old city at night. Had some homus with beer at a famous local place too.

Hopefully, I will be back at the US in a week - despite the disapproving faces of the people I met yesterday.

Geraldo Rivera, Non Zionist Douche-Bag

There, I said it.

This incident, is but one - of many - many anti Israel statements detached from reality over the last 20 years. The man is shameless, but hey - everyone who's been following him in the US probably has a big file of his douchebaggery over the years regardless of Israel.

Camera: Rivera, the Self-Described Zionist, Fools No One

Geraldo Rivera has repeatedly invoked his dubious Zionist credentials in order to launch verbal assaults on the Jewish state. The latest occasion was his March 26, 2010 appearance on "Fox and Friends," in which he accused an allegedly anti-peace, obstructionist Israel of focusing on the Iranian threat in order to divert attention from its own supposed intransigence. His tirade also included the baseless allegation that Israel is responsible for American difficulties vis-a-vis the entire Middle East and the Muslim world.

Responding to a question about American-Israeli tension surrounding the Israeli announcement of plans for building 1600 additional residential units in the crowded north Jerusalem Jewish neighborhood of Ramat Shlomo, Rivera claimed the whole incident is indicative of an Israeli offense more worrisome than the Iranian nuclear crisis:

I don't think Bibi Netanyahu has any intention of making a two state solution peace with the Palestinians. I think he has no intention of ever yielding east Jerusalem. I know it's very difficult for my fellow Zionists and lovers of Israel to get our arms around what is a clear cut agenda. I think what has been revealed by this snub of Joe Biden when he went over there is far more profound than people credit. I think that what has been revealed is the policy of the Netanyahu government never to make peace with the Palestinians based on a two-state solution, never to give up Jerusalem, never, ever ever and, you know, for them to go through the machinations or continue to point to the Iranian threat as their priority is just to divert attention from the fact that there will never be under a Netanyahu or a Likud government any kind of a two state ---

In actuality, the building of homes in Jewish neighborhoods of Jerusalem over the Green Line, such as Ramat Shlomo, is not in violation of any peace accord, nor does it preclude any future peace settlements, including the division of Jerusalem according to Jewish and Arab neighborhoods (as was envisioned, for example, in the Clinton plan.)

In an effort to bolster his baseless argument that Israel works non-stop to block a two-state solution, Rivera erases more than a decade of withdrawals, difficult concessions and goodwill gestures on the part of the Israelis. He states:

Ever since Yitzhak Rabin was assassinated, ever since the Oslo peace process went into hibernation, what moves has Israel done other than continuing to talk about getting together, to talk about it. . .

Steps for Peace: Withdrawals

Here, Rivera implies that the Oslo process died with Rabin in 1995, and that since then Israel has made no moves towards peace, merely engaging in fruitless talks. The TV host evidently has little interest in the facts. In reality, following Rabin's death, Netanyahu, in his first term (May 1996 to July 1999) implemented a series of West Bank withdrawals. In 1997 it was Netanyahu who implemented the Hebron withdrawal (New York Times, Jan. 15, 1997), and it was Netanyahu who carried out Phase 1 of the further withdrawal he negotiated during the Wye Accords (New York Times, Nov. 20, 1998), boosting full Palestinian control over territory in the West Bank (known as Area A in the Oslo process) from three percent to 10.1 percent. In other words, Netanyahu tripled the amount of West Bank land under full Palestinian control. After the Netanyahu withdrawals the Palestinian side also had civil control (Area B) over a further 18.6 percent of the West Bank. The Gaza airport was also opened during Netanyahu's term. Only in the face of massive Palestinian violations of the agreements did Netanyahu finally suspend further re‑deployments. Rivera's apparent amnesia concerning this series of withdrawals on Netanyahu's watch (post Rabin assassination) is inexcusable especially in light of the journalist's boast of "knowing him as well as I do." What's clear is he doesn't know the Prime Minister, his record or essential facts related to the US-Israel contretemps.
Steps for Peace: Prisoner Releases

Besides signing the Wye River Accord in 1998 and withdrawing from West Bank land, other steps that Netanyahu, whom Rivera paints as the archenemy of peace, took towards reconciliation during his first term includes the release of at least 281 Palestinian prisoners, some as goodwill gestures, some in compliance with the Wye River Accord. On Feb. 11, 1997, he released 30 Palestinian women (New York Times, "West Bank Town Hails Freed Prisoners,"> Feb. 13, 1997). On Oct. 1, 1997, Netanyahu released Hamas leader Sheik Amhed Yasin to Jordan (New York Times, "Israel Frees Ailing Hamas Founder to Jordan at Hussein's Request," Oct. 1, 1997). Finally, in November, 1998, as part of the Wye River Accords, Netanyahu released 250 Palestinian prisoners, including 150 common criminals and other offenders (New York Times, "Release of Criminals Elicits Dismay in Palestinians," Nov. 30, 1998)

Other prisoner releases that Israel undertook after Netanyahu left office in July 1999 include:

* Oct. 15, 1999: 109 Palestinian prisoners (and 42 inmates from other Arab countries) released as part of an interim peace deal

* Sept. 9, 1999: 199 prisoners released as part of an interim land‑for‑security deal

* Dec. 27, 2004: 159 prisoners released as a goodwill gesture to the new Palestinian leadership under Mahmoud Abbas

* Feb. 21, 2005: 500 prisoners released, the first part of Ariel Sharon's goodwill pledge to release 900 Palestinian prisoners

* June 2, 2005: 398 prisoners released as the second half of Ariel Sharon's February 2005 goodwill gesture

Step for Peace: Camp David Offer

Five years after Rabin's assassination, Prime Minister Ehud Barak made an unprecedented offer to Yasser Arafat at the Camp David negotiations, one that Arafat turned down without a counterproposal and answered with the second Palestinian terror war.

Step for Peace: Gaza Withdrawal

In perhaps the most painful step that Israel took to ease the conflict was the 2005 withdrawal of all of its soldiers and more than 8,500 civilians from the Gaza Strip as well as hundreds of residents from four settlements in the northern West Bank, uprooting a population from their homes and jobs which had sustained them for decades. This step was repaid with the escalation of rocket attacks on southern Israel, an ongoing assault on tens of thousands of Israeli civilians which continued until Operation Cast Lead last year.

Steps for Peace: West Bank Economy

In his current term, Benjamin Netanyahu adopted the policy of easing restrictions on movement in the West Bank and bolstering the Palestinian economy.

So while Rivera accuses Israel of talk and no action over the last 15 years, it is Rivera who engages in empty talk, about his commitment to Zionism and boasts about his supposed intimacy with Netanyahu. Meanwhile, Rivera assigns no responsibility or accountability to the Palestinian side, ignoring their repeated violations of bilateral agreements, their attacks from territory from which Israel has withdrawn, their genocidal incitement, the hardening of the conditions they will accept before they even begin negotiations, and the failure to soften their stance in the slightest concerning major issues such as Jerusalem, refugees, land and the recognition of Israel as a Jewish state.

Having finished giving a completely erroneous picture of Israeli actions, Rivera than goes on to make the fallacious arguments that Israel endangers America, stating:

And the United States of America is in an extremely difficult position vis-a-vis the entire Middle East and the Muslim world because of Israeli intransigence over the West Bank and Gaza becoming an independent country. . .

Professor Alan Dershowitz succinctly decimated this false linkage, writing:

There is absolutely no correlation between Israeli actions and the safety of American troops ‑ none.

No one has ever shown any relationship between what Israel does and the rate of American casualties, because there is no such relationship -- none.

Consider two significant time periods. The first is the end of 2000 and the beginning of 2001, when Israel offered the Palestinians virtually everything they could have wanted: a state on 100 percent of the Gaza Strip and 97% of the West Bank, a capital in a divided Jerusalem and a $35 billion reparation package for refugees. Virtually the entire Arab world urged Arafat to accept this generous offer, but he declined it. During the very months that Israel was doing everything possible to promote peace with the Palestinians, al‑Qaida was planning its devastating attack on the World Trade Center. No correlation between Israeli actions and American casualties.

Then consider the end of 2008 and the beginning of 2009 when Israel was engaged in Operation Cast Lead, which caused significant Palestinian casualties. During that difficult period, there was no increase in American casualties. Again, no correlation.

Those offering up this phony empirical argument have an obligation to present evidence in support of this fallacious correlation, or else to stop making this bigoted argument.

The reason there is no correlation is because extremist Muslims who kill American troops are not outraged at what Israel does, but rather at what Israel is ‑ a secular Jewish, democratic state. As long as Israel exists, there will be Islamic extremists who regard that fact as a provocation. The same is true of the United States: as long we continue to exist as a secular democracy with equal rights for women, Christians and Jews, the Osama Bin Ladens of the world will seek our destruction. Certainly as long as American troops remain in any part of the Arab world ‑ whether it be Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Iraq or Afghanistan ‑ Muslim fanatics will try to kill our soldiers. Blame for the murder of American troops should be placed on those who kill them, rather than on those who stand for the same values of democracy and equality as America does.

Mischaracterizing the American Jewish Community

Having posited his theory that Netanyahu is fundamentally opposed to a two state solution, and it will never acquiesce to it under any conditions, Rivera then goes on to assert:

the Jewish community in the United States is far more right wing than even the Netanyahu government.

Rivera's misconceptions about the American Jewish community and its political leanings are striking, indeed. As a 2010 Annual Survey of American Jewish Opinion, just released by the American Jewish Committee, notes nearly half (48 percent, versus 45 percent opposed, and seven percent not sure) of American Jewish support the establishment of a Palestinian state despite the fact that 75 percent agree with the statement that "The goal of the Arabs is not the return of occupied territories but rather the destruction of Israel." Moreover, beyond the distorted characterization of the views of American Jews is the tenor of his claims which is contemptuous and dismissive.

Justifying Violence

Recalling having travelled once with Palestinians in Israel (this must have been a long time ago, because since the two Palestinian terror wars most Palestinians cannot hop a bus from the West Bank to Ben Gurion airport), Rivera then goes on to justify Palestinian violence and indoctrination against Israel. "I remember traveling with Palestinians to Tel Aviv airport. Now, I go my way. They have travel restrictions. They have to wait for buses." Rivera then goes on to question "Fox and Friends" host Brian Kilmeade, asking him if he lived under 42 years of occupation (including travel restrictions and waiting for buses), "Would you be a moderate? Would you be a liberal or would you be someone who is going to protest and demonstrate and throw stones and teach your children to hate Israel?"

For someone who once likened a harmless Israeli procedure of numbering Palestinian prisoners to Awhat Hitler and those Nazi pigs inflicted on the Jewish race during the Second World War,@ he takes an awfully mild view of deadly Palestinian violence and hate indoctrination. So while Rivera may continue to talk about his so-called Zionism and the Abeloved ally,@ he is fooling no one.
Fox may want to consider limiting Rivera's reporting to topics and regions that don't trigger such irrational outbursts.

Fox News: White House Disputes Report That U.S. Stopped Issuing Visas to Israeli Scientists

The White House is disputing a report from one of Israel's leading newspapers that claims the Obama administration is denying visas to Israeli nuclear scientists.

The Israeli newspaper, Maariv, reported this week that the Obama administration has stopped issuing visas to scientists working at a nuclear research center in Dimona, citing a professor who doesn't work at the center.

White House spokesman Tommy Vietor said Saturday in an e-mail to FoxNews.com that "the story is wrong."

Zeev Alfasi, the head of Nuclear Engineering at Ben-Gurion University in the Negev, also told Maariv that the U.S. has stopped selling nuclear-related materials to the research center, forcing it to buy items, such as radiation detectors, from France.

The report came as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called off his planned trip to Washington next week to attend a conference on the spread of nuclear weapons.

Israeli officials said Netanyahu reversed himself because he feared some nations planned to use the conference to target Israel over its barely concealed nuclear weapons program.

The Maariv report prompted the Republican Jewish Coalition to express concern and call on the Obama administration to "cancel any policy of discrimination against Israeli nuclear scientists and to restore the traditional friendship and cooperation that have characterized the U.S.-Israel relationship."

"This would seem to be another example of the unprecedented, harsh, and hostile posture the Obama administration has adopted toward Israel," RJC Executive Director Matthew Brooks said in a written statement.

"President Obama continues to extend a friendly hand to Mideast dictatorships like Iran and Syria, while slapping our most important strategic ally there – and fellow democracy – in the face."

The new controversy comes as a new survey shows that a majority of U.S. Jews approve of Obama administration's handling of U.S.-Israel relations.

The American Jewish Committee poll showed 55 percent approve and 37 percent disapprove. At the same time, 57 percent approve of the Netanyahu government's handling of U.S.-Israel relations while 30 percent disapprove.

So is Obama saying those Israelis who were denied Visa are just making it up? What about all the other crap?!

Will 'Anat Kam' scandal lead to demise of Haaretz and Shoken?

One can only hope. If the investigators can find evidence of direct involvement of higher ranks and owners of Haaretz/Walla in stealing secret documents from IDF - can the state, or will it - follow through and shut it down?

Victim?

Soldier secretary steals 2000 documents, partner journalist escapes country
Media reports everything from a perspective that the journalist and traitor are victims of an anti-democracy forces. I disagree, those individuals, and the organization they worked for should be severely punished.
Lawyer for Anat Kam, who allegedly gave 2,000 classified files to Haaretz journalist for "ideological reasons", says client "denies damage to State of Israel."

Hours after the media gag was lifted on information relating to former IDF soldier Anat Kam, who is accused of handing over highly sensitive military information to Haaretz journalist Uri Blau, Kam’s attorney responded to the media frenzy on Thursday, saying that the case was damaging to democracy.

“I would like to apologize for our inability to respond to all the charges (against Kam), however all evidence and materials which have been brought to the prosecution have yet to be brought to the defense, which is highly unusual,” Eitan Lehman, Kam’s attorney said in a press conference.

“Anat denies that any damage was done to the security of the State of Israel or that it was ever her intention to do so,” Lehman added. “All articles published by Blau were approved by the military censor before their publication.”

Lehman added that he felt the indictment against his client was unusually harsh, and if the court wished to adopt the attitude of the district attorney, “it would be damaging to the democratic status of the State of Israel."

On October 28, 2008, an article was published in Ha’aretz that accused the IDF of defying an Israeli Supreme Court ruling against killing wanted Palestinian terrorist who could have been captured alive. A November 2008 story suggested the military had unilaterally loosened its rules of engagement and marked terrorists for assassination.

Following the publication, IDF Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi – with permission from then-Attorney General Menahem Mazuz asked the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) and police to launch an investigation in order to discover who had leaked the documents cited by Blau in his articles.

The purpose of the probe was twofold – on the one hand, to discover the identity of the source, and secondly, to recover all the documents that were believed to be in the journalists possession. In early 2009 the IDF’s field security unit, together with the Shin Bet, began the investigation.

According to the Shin Bet, close to 2,000 documents were copied by Anat Kam when she served as the assistant to the bureau chief of OC Central Command Maj.-Gen. Yair Naveh between 2005 and 2007. The documents contained top secret information concerning General Staff orders, personnel numbers in the Central Command, intelligence information, information on the IDF doctrine and data pertaining to central sensitive military exercises, weaponry and military platforms. The files also contained details on what the Central Command does in the event of a major escalation – how it deploys forces to the West Bank and where it stations them there.

The leak “posed a direct and real threat to the lives of IDF soldiers and Israeli citizens,” Shin-Bet Chief Yuval Diskin said Thursday. He added that throughout the entire investigation, the Shin Bet operated with utmost sensitivity due to Blau’s involvement. Every procedure throughout every step of investigation, he said, was taken with permission from Mazuz and State Prosecutor’s Office.

Obama's hostility to Israel worse than imagined: Sanctions on Israeli Nukes, Sanctions on arms, Nada on Arabs

Congratulation Democrat Jews, all the spinning and excuse making will not do anymore. Israel is worse off than N'Koria as the Jordanian king said - however not because of Israeli actions rather because of a new and hostile American administration.

If you ever cared about Jews right to live (not to mention to live in Israel) and voted - and continue to vote for Obama - you should start realizing your responsibility to whatever is happening and will continue to happen to Jews trying to carry their lives in this tiny stretch of land called Israel. Shame on you - Obama voters.

New Obama Policy: Israeli Nuclear Workers Denied US Entry
NRG/Maariv reports today that workers at the Dimona reactor who submitted VISA requests to visit the United States for ongoing University education in Physics, Chemistry and Nuclear Engineering -- have all been rejected, specifically because of their association with the Dimona reactor.

This is a new policy decision of the Obama administration, since there never used to be an issue with the reactor's workers from study in the USA, and till recently, they received VISAs and studied in the USA.

Is Obama Encouraging Arab Intransigence and Another Intifada?
A senior PA official claims that the Obama administration backs pro-PA rallies in Jerusalem. The claim was reported by investigative journalist Aaron Klein of WorldNetDaily.

According to the official, United States diplomats have encouraged Arabs to protest in parts of Israel's capital in order to pressure Israel to evacuate neighborhoods...

Obama Using “Fired” Officials to “Engage” HAMAS
Remember all of those openly anti-Israel Obama advisors, whom the President “fired” during the 2008 campaign? Well, they’ve all resurfaced. As I noted before, they weren’t really “fired,” so much as they were placed in an “unofficial” capacity to engage HAMAS. And that poisonous engagement is being ramped up at the direction of the Obama administration.

And of course, personally involved in unbanning terror supporting 'scholars' - this is the president of the United States in 2010. Amazing.

British moonbats war on Jooooooish cheese

God forbid the gentiles will enjoy our filthy products in England. The excuse? Something about 'Occupation'... Funny how there aren't any groups in Britain concerned with terror, murder, human life - only the so called discrimination against those who wish to commit racist violent actions.

Chicago celebrates new terror supporting 'scholar'

The British are probably all in tears about losing a great 'scholar'.

Chicago welcomes once-banned Muslim scholar

A face of an angel... Tariq Ramadan

Why should anyone object to an Al-Queda sponsored 'scholar'? If there's something that this does tell me - is that I'd never send an offspring on my expense to Chicago's Universities. It's not that I planned to - regardless - the evidence just against keeps mounting. Chicago is a horrible place to send your kids for higher education.

Lovely 'scholar' you got there.

UK MPs unshaken by 7/7 events, want review of terror laws and state of emergency

Actually this post is a collection of UK terror news from the past two weeks.

Don't let reality interrupt your tea time - quick, condemn the Jews!

In which direction will England go given that it is still under threat of Jihad? Yep - dhimmitude and capitulation, great job!
MPs Demand Full Review Of Terror Laws
MPs from all parties have demanded a full review of counter terrorism legislation put in place since 2001.

They want to know whether many news laws were necessary and are calling on the security services to justify the country's prolonged "state of emergency".

In declaring a temporary state of emergency after the September 11 attacks, the Government was able to legally set aside some of its Human Rights obligations under the European Convention.

'Human Rights' has turned into euphemism for special beneficial treatment of Muslims at the expense of everyone else.

But don't worry, surely pundits across the nation will rush to counter this idiocy and protection of life in face of terror - no?! Nope: Doubt cast on UK strategy to tackle terror, UK Muslims fear being spied on by govt scheme, Mishandling Muslim communities

Somehow, the violent and aggressive counter-culture that has invaded the UK - is treated as the victim. Of course they are - that's how leftists think.

Obviously the kind of news you will read below, will never be highlighted within England, you'd have to seek Indian sources to read about them:
Al-Qaeda urges UK fanatics to build DIY cruise missiles

Sounds like that whole 'Qassam' nonsense Jews in southern Israel had to endure will soon be a familiar issue in England too. Obviously, they will welcome it with more 'Human Rights' nonsense and blabber by their MPs. Londonistan to conquer the former British empire?

Why would England try to spy on its peaceful Muslim communities - it's not like there are fanatic groups there practicing homicidal tendencies? Right?
Britain on 'dirty bomb' alert: Threat of terror attack using nuclear or chemical weapons is rising, says Home Office

Mmmm.... move along, nothing to see here, just some radioactivity in your neighborhood, don't let that stop your tea party. Quick 'da jooooos' used fake passports to take out a mass murdering terrorist - CONDEMN the JEWS!

Britian could always count on its allies to do the actual terror fighting for them... that's why they are so friendly to ally nations:
Taxi driver bomb plot - no problem with Muslims communities here.

Soon to be canceled program to counter terror - monitoring terrorists:
UK police asks Internet cafes to monitor customers

Given that Ahmend and Muhammad are more popular names than George and Henry in England these days, no surprise to find a headline like this: U.K. Brothers Convicted for Plotting Terrorist Attack - where if you'd click you'd find the brothers have one of those 'new age' names oh-so-popular in England: Abbas and Ilyias Iqbal. Gee - multi-culturism and anti-semitism seem to work out fantastically for grand ol' Britian.

Elections in the UK

In the cesspool of anti-Semite pro-Arab 'pluralist' England that is today, who should we root for? As it turned out in France, a change in government after the horrible predecessor of Sarkozy - was a blessed occasion both for France and the global community. It's high time the Britz get rid of their insane lefty government. Brown was sitting around as PM without ever being elected for far too long. They even managed to form an inquiry committee to perform a sort of a 'field trial' to Tony Blair for his decision to side with the USA against Saddam Hussain.

As for my perspective, I'm no fan of left or the right in England. I'd be happy to be proven otherwise, but it seems they are all convinced in the antisemitic filth distributed on their media and I hold no hopes for them. It seems the choice is usually between lefty pro-Muslim capitulation and rightist clones of the Nazi party. At both these extremes - a harsh hatred of Jews simmers.

Like Spain, which was rocked by Islamic terror only to elect the antisemetic almost communist left, the UK are too on the path to one of the extremes.

Am I being too generic/inclusive in my observation? What about the 'center'? Well - I don't know. I didn't manage to observe any 'centrist' conversation. From the BBC, Sky, Financial Times and web based content - I can't see it. It's just not there.

Instead of finding someone in the UK shocked that Hamas suicide bombing terrorists came from the UK to murder in Tel Aviv, That a student from England tried to blow up a plane to Detroit, that the shoe bomber was British and so many other such instances... you only find public flogging of Israel and Israelis. Outrage over usage of passports, boycott of Jews, Academic boycotts as well as industrial, attempts to incarcerate Israeli higher ranks in Britian and generally non-stop hostility. Attempts to bring this to light and debate are shouted down by both the Dhimmi leftists, and the BNP supporters.

Will future events bring any sanity to England? We will soon find out, May 6th. Britons - find some sanity before you destroy yourselves.

Election fever begins in England

Mr. Brown, get out of town (as Dr. Sues wrote...)
